does anyone remember from the last two years when people started releasing and figuring out how to get caw with real portraits? and when we could expect them to happen this year

I do know of one of the guys that did renders last year (though the caws he used were mostly awful). Expect there to be quite a wait at least on the XBOX side one because he is unsure if they will ban people this year and 2 which is a better point for him his he can't get his game not to freeze.

This freeze issue has pretty much crippled alot of activity with WWE 2k14. I know the guys at SimWorld Experience can't release a update do to this issue.

So I'd say sometime after another patch comes out.

Well first I need to do a edit to my comment. There is some photobucketed items for belts like TNA,NWA,ROH and etc.

Freeze issue is when in universe you try to edit your matches. Least this is one I know for sure because it happens to me. Some others I have read is editing roster,creating a ppv, etc. The new patch has almost crippled the game now some people are not having this issue so not sure why some would and some wouldn't.

I've even deleted WWE 2k14 off my xbox reinstalled and the same issue still occurs

Apparently, the guy who originally authored the utility which allowed for insertion of custom wrestler select pictures and custom TitanTrons into WWE 12's save file left the WWE video games community, as he was upset with how other people were using his work and not happy with WWE 13 in general, or something to that effect. I don't know the full story, unfortunately.

Assuming the file format of created wrestlers hasn't changed since WWE 12 (which I did poke around at the save file because I was curious), the game creates a DXT5 texture directly in the save slot for each wrestler for each attire. I think that the custom TitanTron videos were similarly just native AVI files. I don't think I remember enough about the save file itself to try to implement such a utility myself, however.
