On hold with 2k to find out about this freezing issue for 2 hours now. ill let u guys know what i find out when someone actually picks up


Someone picks up and then hangs up. Back on hold yet again

The 2nd time I called only had to wait about 30 minutes. Anyways they set me their trouble shoot sheet through a email which is laughable.

As a side note I called XBox support before calling 2k. Heres their suggestions which tomorrow I'll be calling back and telling them none of this worked.

Before troubleshooting, please check the following:
1. Turn the console off and on.
2. Unplug all power cords and accessories, and then plug them back in firmly. Make sure all connections are secure.
3. Update your console software (this article from Microsoft details how to check if your console software is up to date http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-3...m-updates-info)

Clearing the System Cache:
1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Clearing the Game Data:
(Prior to clearing the game data, ensure that you back up any Save Data so it doesn't become deleted)
1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press A on your controller.
4. Select Games and Apps.
5. Scroll through the list until you find the game you want to clear the data, once you find it press A on your controller.
6. Delete any game related files which are not "save" files, if these files are deleted they cannot be recovered.
7. Once all of the files have been deleted, go back to the Xbox Dashboard Home.
8. Reboot the game.

If this is still happening let's try this on a second 360 to see if the same issue is occurring.

I am going to delete my universe redownload and see how it works. If this works for anyone plz let me know if you r having freezing issues plz call 2k at 866-219-9839 or leave submit a ticket.

Good to see I'm not alone, as I just put my game in and the console said it was unreadable.

Got it to work

The problem is you can't have the title update on the same storage device as your wwe file. When I had both on my hard drive. Got the death freeze,but when I created a new file and put that on my usb and then moved the title file to my usb I was able to use my hard drive file, but when I tried to use my usb file it froze.

So save your Title File to a different storage device other than the WWE Universe you wanna use

Moved it. Thought it fixed it. Edited an Elimination Chamber match. Then went to edit a triple threat, and it froze.

Should be criminal to release games unfinished. We didn't have these problems in the PS2 era of gaming. Sure, games had bugs, but this garbage is just pure laziness and rushing to meet some made up fiasco.

The problem today is a lot of in game errors don't happen on every machine to every user. I have been using Universe mode since the launch and have had only one freeze, others I know have also been able to use it without problems. The PS2 era of gaming (and earlier) it was a lot easier to test for errors because of how limited those systems were. Current and nex gen systems allow you to do so much more than just play games. A lot of in game errors can occur as a result of non game-related issues (such as having too many music files on your system). There will never be a game this large that will be completely bug free, every game some user finds some thing that doesn't work quite right on their machine.

Love playing universe mode which is why when the game freezes it's just so frustrating. Every time when I attempt to edit matches on the card the game decides to freeze completely while loading. I am going to attempt the suggestion which someone pointed out earlier which was to move the title away from my universe mode. Hopefully 2K finds a solution to fix these bugs and problems as without universe mode I restricted to playing online as I've completed 30 years of wrestlemania.

That's how mine is. The other night I tried to only edit the participants in a one-on-one match and it froze. So I turned it off and tried one more time. Froze again.

This is exactly how my universe mode freezes. I decided to remove all my caws and reset my universe mode. After I did this I tried again it its working just fine which is a shame since I really wanted to use the caws and arenas that ive downloaded.
