Well, after waiting to see how much free time I would have after being back in school for the past couple of weeks, I have decided that I have enough time to start up a Universe Mode in WWE 2K14. I started one up last year, but quickly realized that it was simply too much with the massive workload at the time. However, I love doing it and am anxious to get started.
Instead of doing another Current WWE Universe (because there are so many other great ones started) I have decided that I want to do something different. I have narrowed it down to three choices, and I am giving all of you the power to choose, because ultimately this is all for you. I will enjoy booking any one of these. Anyway, onto the choices:
1) WWE Universe set 3 Years in the Future
---In this one, I will use the WWE Roster, but it will be set in April 2016, immediately after WrestleMania 32. This means that a lot of the older stars will be "retired", young mid-and-upper level stars will be the main eventers, and current NXT'ers will be the new mid-carders.
2) WWF Universe - New Generation Era
---In this one, I will be using a roster of CAWs and in-game superstars from the New Generation Era. It will not be based on one specific year (i.e. 1994) but the entire Era, which was roughly 1993-1996. I will take some creative liberties of course, so not everything you remember from those days in real life (such as who won titles, who didn't, etc.) but I will keep it somewhat close. It will start in January of 1994, beginning with the Road to WrestleMania X.
3) Current Day Roster - Rebirth of WCW Universe
---Finally in this one, I will use the current day WWE Roster, as well as CAWs of TNA and indy superstars. This alternate reality Universe will see the rebirth of the WCW, which re-opened in 2009, born out of the remnants of the now-defunct TNA. After being re-opened for nearly 5 years, the new WCW has begun to build a staple of stars and hope to re-ignite the war with WWE. This will start in April 2014, directly after WrestleMania 30.
**NOTE: With the 3rd option, I will have to book for two promotions instead of one, so I will progress through the months at a much slower pace. Please keep this in mind when voting.
Hopefully at least one of these ideas will look good to you, and I'd love to get feedback and votes from every last one of you. Don't just vote, tell me why you made the choice that you did.
