Do you have any reports of this? This is your theory and opinion, no one but Punk and probably Vince (even that isn't a sure thing) knows the real reasons he left, we're all speculating. What is known, from his last comic con appearance, is he was burned out, upset with the inconsistency of creative (he never mentioned creative for his character btw) and that this should be Bryan's time, not Batista's (who he said he respect as well). This mixed in with how the booking at the Rumble went down, is why fans start chanting CM Punk. (and before you try to blast me response, this is just my opinion)

Also, I'm not blasting anyone except for the people chanting for CM Punk at live events where there is 0% he will show up and it is CM Punk's decision not to show up. That's like me going to a Browns game and chanting for Peyton Manning.Too Old To Game Club

#hijackRAW yeah....This is going to turn into craziness.
As for Punk I think his situation is more due to burnout than just taking his ball and going home. He may live to regret it in the future but he's making a decision based on emotion right now. I believe everything going on is a shoot but if they can get him back on Monday than it'll turn into a worked shoot angle of some kind.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

If any of those things beyond being burnt out are true, then it's just a poor excuse. And you cannot walk out on a job, you just cannot do that. Tell Vince, work out a deal, and then recharge. Walking out and leaving them high and dry isn't the way to make a point or do anything other than serve himself.

I'm probably in the minority, but personally I wish the WWE would just give him his early release and just move on from the guy. And I don't really get these fans that are gonna show up on Raw just to chant the guys name. You don't like the direction of the product........but you're going to give the WWE your money anyway. Re: Raw 03/03/14: #hijackraw begins.
I give Chicago a pass on the CM Punk chants. That is their guy. I cant get mad at them for chanting his name even if he quit. Its the one place that makes sense imo.
However, It would be more effective if the arena (literally) turned their backs on the authority, batista, segments and stays silent.
Additionally, every time Bryan tries to directly manipulate them like last week they start booing and yelling no.Comment

Yeah, you have to give Chicago a pass with the Punk chants. Its gonna happen because its their guy, like King said.
That said, I am in the minority camp of 'who gives a crap about Punk.' I've never really cared for him and him leaving the way he did rubs me the wrong way.Comment

He did what he felt he needed to do to better his situation. Those of you that have never quit something your heart wasn't in to or you were burnt out on, more power to you.

I dont think Ziggler can afford to quit as a way to better his position. I don't think Punk is doing anything to help himself either to be honest.
Im not mad at Ziggler for speaking out on twitter, or anywhere. He never quit and is still eating **** lol.Comment

Re: Raw 03/03/14: #hijackraw begins.
As far as Punk goes, I can appreciate the idea behind his leaving, be it burned out or creative differences. I can't support how he did it though. Just up and leaving is such a bitch move. It's disrespectful to the company as a whole, to the fans, and especially to everyone else in the back that he works with night after night.Comment

Looking through some Twitter activity, it seems like the slight majority have created this movement to voice their displeasure of the main event of WM.
And by majority, you have to factor out us Chicagoans from the equation.Comment
