I only got to see Punk wrestle briefly before he left...I saw him last in the Rumble that Batista ended up winning because I think he left after that. Hope he comes back but if he doesn't oh well. More focused on the guys and girls we have now.

I miss Punk, but not enough to the point where I overlook what we currently have in the ring (DBry, Cesaro, Zayn, Wyatts, The Shield, Ziggler and ****... even Orton when he gets a good opponent [plus others I haven't mentioned.])

I was on the fence with hoping for Punk returning. But once I saw that the #Bomovment was being called up, I dont even remember who Punk is anymore. I bolieve we're gonna be in good hands going forward. And I honestly thought Punk was gassed up beyond belief. Last time he was hot was that one Summer and the straight edge before that which I sadly missed most of. He was on cruise control since he lost to Taker, which is why his exit wasnt really shocking to me. I just look forward to a time where we dont bring him up every week. He's disappeared off the face of the wrestling world and I think he did it so people would leave him alone. Lets leave him alone already.

Speaking of Bo the more I see his character the more I understand it and the more I hate it hahaha. I don't mean hate in a bad way though don't take it the wrong way. That pompous *** hat that thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. Like someone said we've all known someone like him.

All I gotta say about Punk is that if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be back into wrestling.

I have been thinking about posting this very same thing, word for word, for a while now.

I was huge into the WWE growing up (Hogan / Warrior era), got way into it again during the Attitude Era, and then really stopped watching altogether for many years. Then I heard rumblings about the "pipe bomb" shortly after it happened, and thought "Hmm… maybe I should see what all the fuss is about." Watched it on youtube, and thought, "Ok, now THAT'S an angle I can get behind". Started watching here and there after that, and then really got back into it during the buildup to that year's Wrestlemania.

Suffice it to say – Punk got me back into the WWE again. Now, I've still remained into it with him being gone, but I'm one of those that is (probably naively) thinking that at some point, somewhere down the line, he'll be back. Probably just wishful thinking on my part. And the whole "taking his ball and going home" thing, I get the argument from those that are like "f that guy", I really do. Something like that is definitely going to rub people the wrong way, and I'm not going to disagree with those people.

I do miss Punk being around, but I am also enjoying the current product. Would we have the current product if he had stayed around? Maybe not. But I'm hoping that they'll continue to keep this momentum, and one day maybe he can get back into the fold and just enhance it further.

But no, I say fraud because he was pushing that making change stuff in and out of the ring. So it's a little different than John Cena saluting in his entrance. Beyond that, I think the majority of us are tired of the CM Punk crowd putting the guy on a pedestal.

Punk could have gone to Vince all he wants looking for them to make certain changes, but if Vince doesn't approve it, its not happening. The only reason the pipebomb promo happened is because he gave them a script of what he was going to say and it was all bull****, then he went out there and said what he wanted to. At the time his contract was about to expire anyway, so what were they going to do, fire him?

That's why I love his new gimmick.

Things like calling Sami Zayn 'green' is hilarious to me. I hope they do Bo vs Cena at some point just so they can put John against the parody of himself. There could be gold there.

You really think they let Punk get out everything he said in that pipe bomb promo before cutting his mic? They knew what he was going to say or he wouldn't have gotten out half of what he said.

Anyway my whole thing is, I'm just burnt out of the CM Punk talk here, the chants interrupting the programming and whatnot.

One thing people forget is that one of the rumored reasons Punk walked out, on top of not main eventing Wrestlemania, is that he was apparently upset with the way stars like Bryan and Ziggler were treated. If that rumor was true, he really helped out one of the two by leaving.

Like I said before though, if he comes back, great. If not, I'm not losing sleep.

I haven't forgotten that. I don't buy that it was one of the reasons though. Even if it was, walking out the way he did is a slap in their faces anyway. I'm firmly in the camp that believe that you don't just walk out the way he did. It's a slap in the face to so many people and there really isn't any way to justify it. I won't keep blabbing on about it though. If you haven't already, go check out Vince's letter to Warrior back in '91 for an even clearer and better rundown of everything wrong with what Punk did.

I agree that the punk chants should pretty much stop, the only time I would be in favor of doing it is if the fans at the show are forced to watch some awful segment.

On another topic, does anyone else think the next raw is going to be awful? Now that they don't have to worry about a hardcore crowd taking a dump all over the whole show, I'm pretty sure they'll go back to a bunch of segments no one wants to see.
