Highlight of the night for me by far was Stardust. That was the best thing I've seen. I mean if it were me doing that and I still get to work with my brother...**** I'm all for it. Glad he embraced it so much and I hope they keep that going for a bit.
They really do need to do more with Paige but I've beaten that topic to death already so I'll leave it at that for now.

And WWE wonders what's the problem with their shows........

Next week is the final Raw before MITB and all of 2 matches have been announced.......

Meaning we'll have 5-6 matches added as last minute stuff, and WWE will then start blaming the superstars for why people aren't interested in events.

I actually think it's a good thing WWE is facing some financial trouble right now. Will force them to re-evaluate what they're doing and maybe force them to actually start putting effort in stuff again.

The WWE Championship ladder match is shaping up to be predictable, in my opinion.

Of the guys involved (Cena, Orton, Wyatt, Cesaro, Reigns, Sheamus, & Del Rio), Orton & Cena are really the only ones that are believable winners.

Wyatt, Reigns, & Cesaro just aren't ready. Del Rio can't still be considered a formidable challenger. And Sheamus already has the U.S. title. Why would they give him that belt, only have him defend it once or twice, then have him win the WWE title? They put it on him to help build it up, and it needs to stay on him.

I'm with Majingir on this one. There used to be a time, when feuds would occupy a majority of the PPV match slots. We would know as soon as the previous PPV ended, that we would be getting a rematch between two rivals at the next PPV. There would only be one or two filler matches.

Now, we have the WWE Championship ladder match, which would be fine if any of the combatants pretended to have any sort of beef with each other. ****, think of all the times Del Rio & Sheamus have battled over the past two years. Same goes for Sheamus & Orton and Orton & Del Rio. Cena & Wyatt JUST had a long, three PPV feud. Now, they don't even acknowledge that they are in the same match for the title. Cesaro has no real beef with any of the guys in this match. Maybe Sheamus, since they had a very brief program together a couple of months ago. During Reigns' time with the Shield, he had wars with Cena, Orton, Sheamus, and Wyatt. But instead, all we get is how the guys are interested in winning the belt.

Rollins and Ambrose are sure to have a match at Money In The Bank. I think that's a given. They've developed this amazing rivalry over the past 2 weeks. And I'm sure that will carry over into Summerslam.

Paige is a champion and has NOTHING to do. Barrett is a champion, and again, he has nothing. The Usos and the Wyatt Family are taking each other own just because..what other credible tag team was there to challenge for the tag titles?

I miss the days of mid-card guys have meaningful feuds. Instead, all of the guys in that card (Barrett, Cesaro, Del Rio, Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns, RVD, etc.) constantly work with each other, over and over and over, with no meaning to it.

You have these guys like Ziggler, Sandow, Big E., Ryder, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Rhodes, etc. who could all be great for a nice 2 or 3 month spot with someone like Cesaro or Barrett or whoever.

EDIT - and I would love to see another ladder match, for the MITB briefcase, but there are NO credible challengers for that available.

That's the match Cesaro, Reigns, Sheamus, & Wyatt belong in. Sheamus could add some star power to it, and the other three could use that match to take the next step.

But of the guys available, they couldn't even put together a legitimate MITB match that would contain believable winners. Who would they use? Barrett? RVD? Ziggler? Cody Rhodes would have been great for that, had he not just began a new gimmick. The Miz? Ryder? Ryback? Axel? Dallas? Rusev? Of the guys I named, Barrett would be the obvious winner. None of the other guys have any credibility left, other than Rusev, and it would be WAY too soon to bestow a MITB briefcase on him.

I'd say that they have made Wyatt and Reigns into believable winners, even Cesaro could be a dark horse. I'm pretty sure we won't see Orton or Cena leave with the titles, but that could just be me.

I guess Orton could with the whole Authority thing but he just had a long reign.

I think the bold is the only feud that actually does make some sense considering they helped Cena finally beat down Bray to end the feud. I think it would have made more sense if Bray was gone for longer though.

Agree with pretty much everything else. It's actually weird that they don't have anything going well in the mid-card or at the top. No credible champions, but there's no one being built up enough really.

I have no clue why Del Rio is in the MITB match. Ziggler may be losing, but at least he's been somewhat involved in the top scene because of it. What was the last major thing Del Rio really did?

Vince really needs to get over his hatred of tag teams right now. Too many people not being used and they could create some interesting things with the talent.

Anybody but Juan Cena winning this would be shocking. The match will be full of great spots by the usual suspects and chaos will go down and in the end it will be Randy Orton and John Cena, because its always Randy Orton and John Cena.

This is just another by-product of having no long-term booking in place. I understand Bryan's injury forced a change at the top with the WWE Championship, but that's still no excuse to have next to nothing planned for a majority of the guys listed above.

With all the recent cuts, things aren't going to get any better for the mid-card guys. We'll see reruns of matches with wins and losses meaning absolutely nothing. Why there's still an IC and US title makes zero sense to me, especially when both are treated like crap. The tag division has once again been dwindled down to nothing outside of the Usos, Wyatt's and Rybaxel.

Bryan's injury shows exactly why flying by the seat of your pants is not a prudent business move when you're putting out 6 hours of TV content on a weekly basis.

                        Was a good Raw.

The stretcher match was pretty poor especially the finish.

Loved the Rhodes Brothers tonight. Cody pulled out some new moves, sweet-looking cross-arm DDT and I believe that was Layla's old finisher.

Whoever above said that Cody is only 28 has the right idea. He could do this for two years even and still be serious, title-challenging Cody Rhodes at the age of 30 with over 10 years worth of WWE experience.
