10/20/14 Raw: Keep Calm and Is There Even a Point?

So the ratings are in, and last week's show scored the lowest in recent OS-measured ratings history at 1.3. This is obviously based off of the number of pages the thread has to date, which is a whopping 13. Is there even a point to have weekly threads anymore?

Probably the best thing to come out of anything WWE is the RKO Outta Nowhere Vines that have gone completely viral in the last week, so that's where I'm going to leave this thread:

I want to see how they handle Cena vs Orton. A week ago all he wanted was to get his hands on Rollins for costing him the title. Has he now moved on to Orton and completely gotten over Rollins' interference all because he lost an over booked contract on a pole match? If the crowd reaction is anything like their match from the Royal Rumble 9 months ago that should make for an entertaining match

This is the go home Raw, right? I'd like to say that means I won't fast forward through 60% of it, but I doubt it. This is becoming "The Par for the Course Era."

I guarantee that they ruin the RKO out of nowhere Vines tonight by having Cole spaz out over something WWE related going viral without their own efforts being involved.

They will ruin this just like they ruined Fandangoing or anything else that was cool for 5 minutes.

They'll prob have Orton hit multiple RKOs on Raw tonight, just cause of the vine videos and stuff.

With the cell being on Raw tonight, someones obviously gonna be on top of the cell. I'd say Ambrose/Rollins since they need that spotlight more. And it'd tie in with Ambrose being crazy since he'd be willingly climbing to the top of the cell and all(and maybe even challenging Rollins to a fight on top of the cell). Either way, that's obviously how Raw is ending(a segment with the cell).

Raw in KC just 24 hours before the World Series...they'll obviously mention this for sure. I'm going with Lana bashing the Royals(and then WWE having Big Show wear a Royals jersey or do something positive to get cheered,since Big Show as a face seems to be the guy who panders to crowd alot).

Would be cool if these Royals chants and stuff are louder than the Derek Jeter chants on Raw a few weeks ago.

The RKO vines came out at a good time for Orton and WWE, as it was looking like he was going to turn soon anyway and feud with Rollins. These vines should help get the crowd behind him more.

I DVR RAW and it takes me maybe 30-45 minutes to get through the show. Not much grabs my attention outside of the Wyatt promos (looking forward to seeing what all 3 guys do when they return to the ring) and Damien Mizdow.

This is the downside of Brock Lesnar being champion and not appearing for months at a time.

lol, speaking of that, I wonder how long it'd take me to catch up to LIVE this week. Last week I managed to catchup by 10:30 when I started an hour late, wonder what it'd be this week.

RKO will suffice. Hard to say what the crowd will do with that match, since we've seen it like 400 times on TV/PPV since the 2 started in 2002.
