Been playing HCTP alot lately since Showdown got me all hyped for wrestling games and turned out to be boring. Here are a few things that I think could really improve the next version. I dont expect all these to be in the next installment but it'd be sweet if they were.
1. Ring announcer: Just makes things seem more like a real show.
2. Play by Play commentary: Doesnt matter if its not 100% accurate. As long as something being said things will seem more realistic. Though I'd still like to see them make it as good as possible.
3. Multiple Outfits for all Wreslters: This should be standard in all wrestling games.
4. Create-A-Belt: Since THQ claims defending existing titles in exhibition would mess up season mode let us make out own to defend in exhibition.
5. Create-A-Card: Basically like the one they had in Smackdown 2 where you make and 8-10 match card, pick the arena, and lighting arrangements. Maybe the game could also generate little promos between matches based on the matches you creater....dunno if that could be done or not but it would be cool.
6. Personalized movies fow CAW. Shoot just a movie that scrolls and flashes the CAWs name acroos the Titantron would be better then them walking out to someone elses movie.
7. Bigger Factions: I'd say 4 to 6 wrestlers plus a manager would be enough. And when in amatch like the Rumble or Elimination Chamber it would be nice if computer AI would recognize a fellow faction member and go after them last.
8. The ability to edit existing wrestlers attire: I'd love to put Lance Storm back in his Team Canada get up from WCW in HCTP. You can do it in other sports games and its not a problem why not here? This and the multiple outfits wishes might be a little redudant though I'd take this one over that one.
9. Slow the gameplay down a notch or two. I dont mind the fighting system in MCTP I just think it moves a wee bit fast. Somewhere between HCTP and Showdowns speeds would be nice.
10. Entrance music for Legends.
11. Something similar to Showdowns momentum meter. Basically take the Smackdown meter they have now and have it go back down if you are inactive or getting you butt kicked instead of just being one way.
