Shows like this are why I am still a fan of professional wrestling after 30 years. Wow!

Amazing that the "minor league" puts on a show that blows away almost everything WWE puts out monthly. Titles in NXT mean something! Finishers mean something (you don't see kickouts of 4-5 finishers like you do in WWE now) and matches tell a clear story.

The Kevin Owens debut was perfect. He hit some big spots and looked powerful.

The Balor entrance was unbelievable. I don't watch overseas wrestling (I probably should) so I didn't know much about Balor but that entrance immediately screamed "star" to me. Itami was great in the match, too, selling everything by The Ascension to set up Balor's hot tag.

Charlotte is outstanding and Banks more than held her own. So nice to see the women treated with respect and given time to put on a good match. You almost don't want them called up to WWE because the matches just aren't treated the same. Maybe that attitude is changing and these ladies will be a part of that change.

Zayn-Neville was a Match of the Year candidate and I'd say it was my favorite match I've watched this year. Both guys busted their butts and told a great story, which was helped by the backstory and match stipulation. I'd watch these two wrestle all the time. I hope Neville gets a chance on the main roster; he's really fluid and has a unique set of moves.

The end of the show was well-done, too, with Owens turning and setting up the next feud for the title.

The best thing was that unlike RAW or the PPVs, this show seemed to fly by. No wasted segments, just straight-up in-ring action.

Don't change, NXT. This is the show for fans of professional wrestling.

Triple H sure as hell knows how to put on a show.

I skipped a match or two I believe, but I was just so excited to see Hideo/Finn vs Ascension and Sami vs Neville.

I'll go back and watch what I skipped tomorrow.

However, from what I did see..

I loved CJ Parker's sign, however I took it as taking shot of something outside of wrestling, even if it wasn't.

Owens debut match was great to show fans what he's capable of. While I expected we wouldn't see it because of the ban, I was still disappointed that we didn't get a piledriver.

For a second, as I was skipping through, I thought the Boogeyman was coming out. However, when I realized the WWE allowed Finn to throw some paint on, I was pumped. Those four put on a really good match and hope to see them once more before the Ascension eventually gets called up.

More divas matches like Charlotte/Banks please. While Banks, IMO, is nothing to look at.. her and Charlotte put on a match. I very disappointed that Vince cut Charlotte and Natalya's match on Raw.

The Main Event was just great. Great story telling from the beginning to the post-match. Zayn winning was expected, unless he was going on vacation or something.. It was nice to see them continue the Generico/Steen storyline as well because the WWE loves pretending like these guys never existed before coming here.

Five Star.... PPV? again from Triple H.

I marked out when I thought Itami was gonna give him the GTS. I'm going he gets to use it now that Punk is in UFC.

As much as I want him to use it, and he deserves to use it, they won't let him, at least not when he's called up, just so *** hole fans don chant for Punk at him.

I feel like if they make him look good from the get go, and bill him as the innovator of the GTS, I think there's a chance he won't get the chants.

Pretty much concur with the general sentiment that NXT is a great option when you want to see good, classic wrestling that many of us fell in love with as pups. NXT lured me in during the last takeover with that fatal four way.

Loved the divas match. You have to understand that divas/women's wrestling is typically painful for me to watch bc it's often rushed and poorly executed in WWE. Tonight's match showed that given the tools and resources, they can tell a great story in ring also. Hopeful for that division in the future.

Neville and Zahn tore the house down as I fully expected. Great chemistry those guys have.

Still buzzing about the PPV man. I'm going to go back and watch what I missed when I get home from school so I don't even want to know why Graves was on commentary.

In all due respect to Cesaro, I wish he was on NXT so we can see him get the time to put on quality matches each week. He is one of my favorites and I hate how he is being used on the main roster. Being paired with Tyson Kidd? Get outta here with that.

CJ Parker split his hand open on his palm strike to Owens.

WWE hyped this more than TLC. How is it that the "minor leagues" are better than almost everything on the main roster? I'm so confused. Almost all of these guys need on the main roster now. What are they waiting for? Do they enjoy making the main roster look like garbage?
These days I'm less like "Jailhouse Rock" Elvis and more like "dying alone on the toilet" Elvis.

The difference between Vince running a sports entertainment show and HHH running a wrestling show.

Just finished watching the show, hands down the best WWE pay-per-view of the year imo. Quality match after quality match, and being able to still give the fans a reason to tune in next week (i.e Dempsey/Corbin stare down, Kevin Owens attack.)

I found it kind of funny that he was wearing a KO shirt, I never really clued in when they announced Steen's new name that it had the same KO initials as Kassius Ohno.

It's funny how every NXT big event is 10x better then the following PPV put on by the main roster.
