    Destination America cancels TNA programming

The page you're looking for may have been changed, moved or mysteriously gone missing

I think that's going to be it for them. RIP TNA...

Pipe dream but if they dissolve maybe WWE will reconsider bringing back Angle one more time. I can't imagine TNA survives a second cancellation in a year.

That is harsh. Seems like they've regretted putting Impact on their channel from the get go.

Im sure GWF swoops in and takes several of these guys. If anything good comes out of it, several of the younger talent can catch on with NJPW and maybe even NXT

Can't say I'm surprised. Destination America acted like they wanted nothing to do with TNA once they started airing the show and of course, moving the show to Friday was a crushing blow from the outset.

I don't know how TNA survives without a television deal. I feel bad for those employed, but hope that some of the talent can get work elsewhere. Someone like Gail Kim would be a perfect addition to NXT, both as a trainer and in-ring performer.

Since it's coming from Dave Meltzer, I'll wait to hear from TNA or DA.

I would say Gail Kim is done with WWE at this point. I know they've been in the makeup and make the impossible, possible mood with a lot of folks in recent years, but nothing about the way she left the last time suggests a return for her in any capacity. Especially since her time in WWE is a largely forgettable time.

IDK how you guys have your forum settings but it's shocking to me that TNA not only still has its own forum but that it has 19 pages of threads dating back to 2006. I can't believe how popular TNA used to be.

From what I've been reading on and off in the past few months, TNA's product is apparently the best it's been in years too.

This deal never made sense. TNA went to a channel that had less reach than their previous channel, and Destination America got a show that didn't fit in with any of their other programming.

Yeah, I remember when he was wrong about Spike cancelling them. Oh...

They burned their audience too many times. Combine that with a move to a relatively unknown channel and you can see why people stopped watching.

This whole story just continues to get weirder....If TNA isn't getting canceled, then good old Meltzer really did a bang up job with his agenda to damage TNA. Some rumors is that he got really pissed that he wasn't invited to a press conference.

TNA issued the following statement to Prowrestling.net on Thursday.

It has come to our attention that several internet news sources have falsely attributed statements to TNA, its executives and broadcasting partner. These false statements constitute defamation and if necessary we will seek all legal remedies available to us.

I don't know who to believe but then again a month ago they didn't pay some of their talent and they are currently be sued by Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey/Garrett Bischoff for missing payments.

It sucks because TNA has been pretty good lately.

I don't know what to believe. Meltzer could be right, but TNA could just be annoyed that it got leaked this early.

Of course Meltzer is right. Same **** that happened with Spike and how they were desperately trying to deny Spike cancelling them by saying "nothing is set in stone". TNA is done for and Vince is going to buy their library because why not?

Just for the sake of argument lets say this is 100% true. What did Destination America think they were going to get from TNA in terms of advertising or ratings? Its well known that wrestling is tough to get advertising for, and the ratings are decent considering the channel they're on.

It's strange to me because I was reading at first how DA was a fast growing channel largely in part due to TNA. Funny how fast things can change...
