Re: 08/10/15 Raw: It's not yet Summerslam

Eh, this week's show was okay. I continue to enjoy seeing the New Day as their antics are gold and their crowd reaction is getting louder as the weeks go by. The triple threat match between Orton/Owens/Cesaro was good and I thought the finish was very clever. Nice to see Daniel Bryan for that homestate reaction. It was refreshing to see Ryback as well. Very odd to see King Barrett lose that instant. I guess they ran out of time and had to give it to Stephen Amell and Stardust. And lord have mercy Amell got to the ring quick jumping over the ropes. That legit training. His backstage segment was cool too.

I'm baffled with Seth Rollins' booking. He can't beat Orton who fought a match earlier and had to get saved by Sheamus. Odd. And then Sheamus tries to cash in his briefcase only for the referee to stall the cashing. Normally referees don't take this long to signal for the bell. Team PCB was boring on commentary. About as boring as Darren Young on commentary. Confused with Team Bella's booking as it looked like they were being booked as faces in their match. Lastly, Dean Ambrose continues to job. It never ends for him.

I could have done without the triple threat match. It looks like they're heading towards Owens vs Cesaro, so don't give away the match on TV. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I like when two guys that are going to be facing each other at a PPV have minimal exposure to each other in the ring on TV.

I don't know why, but it really bugged me that after Rollins and Orton botched the ending, they literally just tried it again instead of moving on and then the ref standing there not taking the briefcase because he was waiting for Orton. Ugh.

The Arrow is a badass! Looking forward to that match, but why is it a tag match? What does Barrett have to do with any of this besides the fact that he just got his *** kicked cleanly by Neville?

Sorry, but I'm still not getting a "good thing this thing is 4 hours!" vibe from this Summerslam card.

I'm not lying. My wife and kids could die and The New Day entrance would still make me laugh.

That was a great show. I liked the main event and was convinced up until the ref not giving Sheamus the shot, that Rollins wasn't walking out with the title tonight. And Cena v. Rollins wouldn't have happened at SS because of the broken nose. I want to think that the The Arrow/Neville v. Barrett/Stardust will be good but I can't see a way for that to happen. I think it's going to be a quick match because the CW and Amell's agent will not want their star to get hurt in a WWE match.

I just don't get bad news Barrett teaming up with stardust, odd couple. Just random and poorly thought out IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised that Barrett just leaves after something then Neville hits his finisher and then game over.

Apparently it was supposed to be the Miz and Stardust, but Ryback's injury stalled that feud from finishing up.

I really thought the whole thing was just gonna lead to Stardust vs Neville with Amell as the guest ref. That's what should've happened. Then the follow up could've been that tag or something at the next event.

Why does WWE constantly just bury people who do things to get a push...Sandow won MITB,look what has happened since. Barrett is the KOTR, now look at him.....

And of course when we had King Sheamus, just how horrible that was too.

WWE has like 30+ writers. Assign each writer 1-2 superstars and they're solely responsible for that person. Force each writer to come up with great stuff for their superstar(s)! I see more meaningful storylines/proper character development in a 30 min sitcom than I do in 5+ hours of WWE a week from RAW/SD.

They've started filming for Arrow, doubt he has this much spare time to do multiple events right now.

No offense, but you might be the only person who didn't expect it to be Stardust vs Amell.

                                They need 5 max.
