is expected to show up next week.

I really hope Orton isn't the guy to join Ambreigns. I hope they just beat up different faces (maybe Cesaro next week, or something) because this is a cool moment for a NXT call-up.

Oh man, what can I say about this RAW. It was all over the place. Not much good stuff happened. The only good things I enjoyed were Sasha Banks getting the win over Paige, Ryback getting a win over Seth Rollins followed by that epic backstage segment with Rollins/New Day/Edge & Christian/Dudley Boyz. Also loved that the New Day got to main event in the 6-man tag match (although Kofi had to eat the pin). Other than that, we had a few obvious squash matches with Reigns/Ambrose winning their tag match and and Dudleyz Boyz winning theirs. I wonder if Randy Orton is going to be randomly added to the Wyatt Family feud. Oh yeah, not sure if that was a heel turn by Los Matadores after losing to the Dudleyz. By the way, I'm literally tired of Orton/Sheamus matches. Sick and tired of the Big Show as I don't care about his feud with the Miz. The Rusev/Ziggler feud has lost steam. Hopefully Lana's injury signals the end of it but I can't trust the creative team.

Edit: Not liking this WWE portrayal of Sting. I'm at lost for words as he was my favorite in WCW. This proves that your character is never safe when you join the WWE. Even an icon like Sting.

Honestly, this Sting is a lot more like TNA Sting than WCW Sting. I kinda like it, he's been much more entertaining than he was when he first debuted.

That Podcast though. Especially Christian's dig at Jericho. So good.

Yeah, last night I was thinking that Sting is acting more like TNA Sting also. All he needs is the Joker paint.

I love New Day more and more by the week. I hated them at first but now that they've been given a little creative freedom, I love 'em. They are hilarious.

No way Rollins leaves NOC as a double champ. Either Sting wins and Sheamus cashes in or Cena gets the US title back.

This Rae/Dolph/Lana/Rusev love square is, as previously mentioned, a trashy soap opera and I find it really entertaining.

I would love for Owens to beat Ryback for the IC strap. I'd like to think Owens could restore some glory and prestige to it.

I agree with everything you said except for the part about Rollins. I was dead set on the SS match ending with him walking out with only 1 title (either a DQ leading to each keeping their own belt or Sheamus cashing in and walking out WWE champ). So I have come not to expect anything to come out of PPVs.

Rollins should beat Sting with help from hhh. Beat cena by dq.

The next ppv, sting goes all or nothing. Both title's on the line. Sting wins, hhh turns on rollins after loss, sting retires the US title and loses wwe whc to sheamus cash in.

Why would you spend 6 months building the US title to the point where it actually means something, only to immediately retire it.

I think Rollins loses both titles, but Sheamus cashes in on Sting as the Authority's backup plan. Let's them turn Rollins face and you can build to a Rollins/Triple H match down the road.

Well if they really wanted it to mean something then why didn't they let Cena keep it at SS and then have still run the open challenges. This could have been done like I said earlier with the match ending a DQ or something. I'm with you though I think Rollins loses at least one of the titles at NOC. And maybe even both.

They've spent a month talking about Seth winning the US title and about how big of a deal that is. Even if Cena wins it back, that's worth as much, or more, than a month of Open Challenges.

                            Re: Raw 09/07/15: #SaveTheTables

It's WWE, does it really matter? They had a whole thing a few years back about changing the IC title design to look like the IC title of the old days when it was prestigious and fought over in some of the biggest matches in IC title history and days where IC title matches even outshined world title matches. That obviously didn't work out.

And if anyone should be the one to hold the US title for the last time before it's retired, I think Sting doing so would be fitting. It's the final WCW title left, and Sting is a former US title holder already, let him have the belt before it's retired. When the WHC was retired, Cena gave it to Flair, not as an official reign or anything obviously, but basically retired it by giving it to a WCW guy known for holding that belt multiple times.

Today all you need is the main title, the IC title and tag titles. So then we could see 1 mid card title, and maybe even seeing some of those bigger matchup feuds happening for IC title again. Seeing guys like Owens/Reigns/Cesaro/Orton/Cena and others involved in that picture. Like I suggested before as well, Cena needs to be in IC title picture. Do something he's actually never done before in his career.

This isn't "try and make the US title mean something". It actually means something at this point. It's way above the IC title at this point. Which, while still not where it was 15, 20 years ago, is still at least involved in storylines. Owens is already involved in the IC title picture.

And Cena didn't retire the World Title there. He still carried both belts for the rest of his reign. Lesnar was actually the guy to ditch the big gold belt.

I've been enjoying everything they've done with the US title since Mania. It's a big deal again. And I think there's certainly enough room for 5 titles on wwe television, with a roster this big and talented. And if you're going to retire something at this point, it makes way more sense to retire the IC belt.
