Probably the end of Ring of Honor as we know it. They've kind of been in need of a refresh as of late, and while the measures they are currently taking are drastic, it also wouldn't surprise me to see them come out the other side in the middle of next year or so after Sinclair sells off the name/assets

ROH 2.0! I hope this isn't the case and ROH does continue to run next year when they come back. Their statement just sounds exactly like what the WCW.com website wrote when Bischoff was just about to buy it, go on hiatus and create a new WCW.

I can see WWE trying to buy out the video library to put it on Peacock and given the amount of talent in WWE that started in ROH, would allow them to do proper documentaries with the actual footage. Just hopefully the talent are able to land on their feet elsewhere in the time being whether it's WWE, AEW, Impact, New Japan or wherever they may sign.

I can't see them doing that at all.

As much cost cutting as WWE has been doing, I just don’t see them spending the money for those rights.

              Depends on the price.

But also, would AEW consider buying the ROH rights/library? Maybe try for an invasion angle of their own, except unlike their Impact agreement, the ROH deal would actually have AEW with talent under AEW deals, and ROH under the AEW banner?

ROH being to AEW what NXT is to WWE?

Would ROH under the AEW banner be better for AEW than Dark/Elevation?

Ok that idea intrigues me. ROH essentially being the developmental show for AEW just like what NXT is, it would actually work. Obviously I'd much rather ROH operate separately but that would be an interesting idea.

ROH probably could still operate separately, just have a talent exchange option with the lower end talent who are mainly on Dark/Elevation.

Like AAA baseball or the G League.

At least in this case, AEW is like an investor into ROH, and gets a cut of their profits in exchange for the ROH rights.

Maybe it would be more similar to WWE and OVW (and later FCW), but with better developmental conditions than the warehouse/low end pay/lack of funding.

                        ROH final battle happens tonight.

I'm not gonna watch it, but I'll be following it to see who ends up appearing.

I doubt AEW is sending talent to compete (minus Lethal), but it would be cool if any major talent who was ever part of ROH like Danielson, Punk and others at least got to appear. Even if they just do it WWEHOF style where they just bring up the legends to the stage.

Def gonna watch Final Battle, ROH meant too much for me during the 00s to not see the era out. Sad about it overall though.

so far Eddie Edwards and Hangman Page have appeared in videos for ROH, expecting more of that

nice little bit with Rhett Titus winning a singles championship for the first time in his 16-years in ROH (been a two-time tag champion though)

gnarly table spot in the fight without honor between king and shane taylor, but it was a good match.

Is it 100% that ROH is ending forever? All I've heard is it's hiatus until Wrestlemania weekend, but everyone on Twitter is acting like it's over for good.
