I think they're keeping Sasha away because it's pretty clear shes the next Champ, she probably won't get back in the picture till Summerslam angles start rolling in.

I will instantly become a much bigger fan of Charlotte if that happens. Get all Naitch related things away from her.

        1) I understand North Carolina is Flair Country. I also get they want to make the Women's Championship important with the new title, but it didn't make sense to close the show. Talk about a New Era indeed.

        2) I made the hour drive from where I'm at in Carolina to the show last night. I can tell you, nobody cared for them whatsoever. People were heading to the concessions during their match. Def should have moved them back to NXT and tested this gimmick out in NXT first.

Back to point one a bit, the last two weeks "The Guy" with "The Title" as Reigns put it, has not closed out Raw and is in the top of the last hour. Last week we had Ambrose/Jericho close out the show with Ambrose destroying his jacket. This week was the Women's Contract Signing. Sad thing is, outside of the constant matches between Gallows/Anderson and the Usos, the AJ/Reigns feud has been good.

Imagine if Raw ended after AJ hit the Styles Clash on the Chair to Roman, that's your sell for Sunday, that's how you sell the title match. I texted my friend after that segment who was sitting in another section and said was that the end of Raw already, that's what it felt like. So apparently this "New Era" is an Era where "The Guy" with the "The Title" isn't trusted to close out the show.

Nobody's watching by the end of the third hour no matter who they have there, so it makes sense to feature the big story at a time when the audience is actually there.

Part of me wishes they had saved that spot with the Styles Clash onto the chair for Extreme Rules.

My only solid complaint is WWE originally booking Gallows and Anderson as a monster tag team, and you have them losing to the Usos?!?!?!

Well the Uso's were tag champions for like a year and were pretty much the dominate team for a couple years. You make it sound like they lost to the Ascension.

Replace Reigns with Rollins and the feud with Styles would be so much better.

The IC title and tag team title buildups have been better than the WHC build.

How would that make it better? The matches would be amazing, but Reigns and Styles had a hell of a match at the last PPV.

The feud has actually be pretty awesome, and the build has a lot of wonder in it. Will Balor debut, will they give up on Reigns, what's up with The Club, and more.

I am really thinking it is just the cool thing now to hate Reigns because he has improved tremendously over the past few months, and this feud has been the main thing getting me to check out Raw.

You already answered your own question... but it goes even deeper.

1- Rollins actually generated heat and not the mixed reaction that Reigns and now, to a degree, Styles gets. Styles works better as a babyface and what better opponent for him than the guy who was the top heel in the company for over a year plus. The crowd would really get behind Styles against a guy like Rollins.

2- Rollins can actually talk on the mic. Reigns and Styles are both below average. At least if it were Rollins/Styles, you'd have one good promo guy for the other to bounce off of making the promos better in general.

3- It would eliminate this Bullet Club/Usos snooze fest that we get every week. The Bullet Club was cool... in Japan. They aren't over at all in WWE and I don't think I need to mention how mundane every Usos match has been for the last several years. They could have done something different with Gallows and Anderson to debut them instead of putting them in the main event storyline. These guys get zero reaction right now but it's not all their fault. Blame creative first and foremost. They should have been eased in.

4- The matches. If anybody says they would rather watch Styles wrestle Reigns in three high profile PPV matches than watch him wrestle Rollins in the same three matches, they just don't share the same taste in pro wrestling as I do. Reigns has improved, but he still can't wear Styles' or Rollins' jock when it comes to in-ring ability. Styles/Rollins has the potential to be the new Bryan/Punk when it comes to match quality. I'm confident we'll get this feud one day once Rollins returns... hopefully soon. Then we can judge the quality of both feuds/matches.

First, don't cut off my post like that. I didn't answer my own question. Just one of my pet peeves. Matches don't make feuds good, they are a key component, but they alone don't make something good. Or else Neville and Shelton Benjamin would be WWE Champions.

1- He got whiny heel heat. He was the top heel in the company because who else did they have? Owens was just starting up, Wyatts booking is pathetic, Miz really wasn't around, hmmm yeah not much else there. A whiny heel, in my opinion, would not work against AJ Styles and The Club. They need a force like a Roman Reigns (how WWE wants him portrayed) to go up against so they can show off their skill sets.

2- I agree 100% Rollins is better than both on the mic. However, Styles and Reigns have both held their own whenever they've had to promo. I don't remember a single cringe worthy promo from either this whole feud.

3- Can't agree or argue here, complete opinion on your part and that can't be swayed. I am totally cool with what has been happening except for the fact they have faced each other for the past 3 Raws and Smackdowns.

4- Again can't argue this one, yes they would have amazing matches. However, Reigns wrestles a COMPLETELY different style. You can't compare him to these two. His moveset and skills works well with these two, Styles and Rollins together would just have some amazing spots. Styles and Rollins may carry the flow of the match with Reigns, but Roman gets to use more moves that a lot of people know he has so it definitely isn't a one way street in those matches. Their back won't be hurting, two years ago yes, today no.

Overall I just feel Rollins is a solid athlete, good in the ring, decent on the mic, and would have a solid match with Styles. I just am not 100% on the feud they'd have, but I hope we get to see that one day so maybe I can be proven wrong, or it'll change my opinion.

It definitely is, but I also think it's the cool thing somehow to defend him lol. Dude didn't say he sucked or was garbage or even bad, only that if you replaced him with someone that they prefer, it would be better. It's gotten to the point where you can't say anything at all negative or you're just "hating" lol.

It was honestly just the two of us having two different opinions, but yeah you're pretty right haha. It seems whenever someone says take Reigns out of something it is bashing, and I take his post as a little bashing on him because he thinks Rollins would be better suited for this feud and I disagreed.
