He wasn't bitter enough yet I don't think. Maybe late 97 Bret.

When that happened, I knew the Invasion angle wasn't going anywhere.

Oh the invasion....the biggest missed booking opportunity in the history of the WWE.

Ego and the unavailability of the major WCW stars killed that angle.

I will watch those two videos later. Thanks

Yea not signing Sting and the other major players really hurt that angle.

Also I really like that series that Adam does. He has some great ones on there. I really liked the Straight Edge Society one. That was a good take on that one. The one about Vince's illegitimate son was another good one. Also his take on Ending the Streak was good.

They really should've just waited a year to do it. NWO and Flair specifically would've been there for start of 02. And HHH too.

                  NWO,Booker,DDP vs Rock,Austin,HHH,Angle,Jericho vs RVD,Dudleyz,Dreamer,Tazz.

That would've been a nice feud. And all the others involved too would be nice.

At very least, 01 could've just been ECW invasion after Summerslam, then after Survivor Series, Flair comes in and brings WCW in.

Angle beats Lesnar and Big Show for the WWE title. And the late Eddie Guerrero defeats He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named in the finals of the US Title Tournament at Vengeance.

I missed it by a day, but still wanted to post this.
15 years ago! For the longest while, that was my fave moment in WWE history(topped coincidentally by Rock returning in 2011).

Was real special for me back in 2001 cause I had only just started watching WWE regularly, earlier that year, but despite that, actually had a Rock poster in my room for years before that. Since Raw aired 9-11pm on "school nights", I wasn't able to really get to watch it live unless it was something special like Christmas break, march break, summer vacation and so on.

So of course, being summer 2001, I got to watch it, so this was one of the first Raws I ever got to watch live. Got to watch it with some of my family too, and I remember we were celebrating too during the end of that entire thing. Rock Bottom on Vince, went crazy. Rock Bottom on Shane, went crazy. Then he says he's coming back to the WWF,and we started celebrating lol.

One of the reasons the Invasion was special to me. Despite so many people hating it, I never knew WCW(again, ironically,I had a WCW video game since the 90s,but never knew what WCW or wrestling really was lol). But it was the first real angle in wrestling I remembered, so it became real special to me for that reason. I think my first ever time watching wrestling was early 2000(Hardys-Dudleyz,table match)
