    Here's one I forgot about
    January 26, 2015

Due to snowstorms, Raw had to be shut down.

The night after the rumble, Roman had just won, fans booed him as The Rock tried getting him over. Fans would've gone in even more on him just 24 hours later if a show happened.

Instead we got a show from WWE HQ which featured a studio interview with Reigns and Lesnar, JBL doing weather updates, and Dean Ambrose deciding to walk to the show since the roads were closed.

Most of the show wound up just being a Rumble recap as WWE replayed the main events of the rumble on free tv (this was the first rumble to air on the network), and it was the first show fully halted since the now forgotten/erased Benoit tribute episode, and would be the last one halted like this until the pandemic.

5 years ago, the first Raw of the pandemic era. And most unfortunate about it, the Raw happened on 3:16 day where it would've been so much fun having Austin on 3:16 day in front of the crowd.

The next Monday Night 3:16 Raw will be next year! After that it'll be 11 years for the next one. WWE better be making sure Austin's calendar is all freed up a year in advance and book the show in Texas.

To keep the pandemic flashbacks going, 5 years ago today was the final appearance for Roman Reigns as the 'Big Dog' character. He did a contract segment with Goldberg to finalize their Universal Championship match at Wrestlemania 36, then the health risks of Covid led to him taking 5 months off.

Roman returned in August 2020 with a new character, a Wiseman and the rest is history. Heyman & Roman both said Roman considered retirement due to his frustrations with his character at the time.

In some alternate timeline Reigns leaves WWE and joins Mox in AEW.

Imagine Reigns jumps to AEW and then starts his Tribal Chief gimmick. People would hate seeing Roman in AEW at first, but as soon as they see the heel Tribal Chief Reigns, especially if Heyman is there too, that would've been huge.

            10 years ago today

I know it's not looked back on as one of the great WMs, but I thought it was cool from a spectacle perspective. Even Sting vs HHH, I liked the NWO vs DX part, but Sting should've won. But we also should've gotten Sting vs Taker!

And being the first outdoor WM on the west coast (WM26 was in Phoenix, but I believe the roof was closed), so getting to see so much of the show happening in daylight made it stand out so much to me.

Also shoutout to DDP for getting Scott Hall to the point of being able to walk upright for that segment.

The RAW After WrestleMania 31....... John Cena debuted the US Title Open Challenge that would change the fans perception of him. Brock Lesnar gives Michael Cole an F5 and AJ Lee had her last match in WWE and quietly retired from Wrestling.

For all that I've heard about this, the thing I never knew about it, it happened on THUNDER!?

Even Thunder at its peak wasn't huge was it? But this was 2000 Thunder which would be even worse (Or is that wwe revisionist history where they barely acknowledge Thunder since they want it to seem like only Nitro was doing well for 84 weeks going up vs Raw)

Modern day equivalent would be like seeing Travis Scott or Bad Bunny winning the wwe title on Main Event? I wouldn't even put Logan Paul in this category since he at least can wrestle, though him winning probably would draw easy comparisons to Arquette too.

Thunder was still the B show, but it’s 2000 WCW so it wasn’t prestigious or anything. Not the name value of Nitro, but it wasn’t Main Event level. (those would be WCW Saturday Night or WorldWide).

I guess the WWE equivalent would be more like…if Bad Bunny won the title on a taped Smackdown in 2011.

Funnier thing I read about this, given the timing of the show (a taped Thunder in April 2000), WCW tried to emulate Foley winning the title on a taped show by spoiling it themselves.

Yes, they "that'll put butts in seats" themselves, but it failed.

3 years ago today............ Sasha Banks & Naomi as the Women's Tag Team Champions walked out of WWE. WWE would then of course days later on Smackdown basically bury them on commentary. Got to say, the idea that Vince wanted both Sasha & Naomi to compete for the RAW & SD Women's Championships as Tag Team Champions in hindsight wasn't a bad idea. It just showed how little WWE valued those titles that instead of a tag title program, they were just going to lose singles feuds. Now when you look at the Tag Titles three years later and they still do not care about them. Sasha & Naomi wanted to elevate the titles and do more with them... basically proving they were right to walk out.

May 23rd I never realized was also Bray Wyatt's birthday!

So not only the anniversary of Owens death, but then also remembering Bray on this day too.
