Wow at that ending of Raw. Didn't expect Kevin Owens to win but glad he did. He can talk and has a great character. Now I just wonder who will he feud with and if this means Rollins is a face or just a tweener. Poor Roman was booed all night as well. That Heyman/Stephanie promo was effective as well. Cesaro lost again to Sheamus. I'm sure he will tie this series up

I don't think people should be reading that as NXT is better. That will probably just lead to disappointment. HHH clearly already has beef with Reigns. And my guess is he'll come and talk about how Rollins had been a failure since his return or something like that. The NXT angle doesn't make a ton of sense since Seth is an NXT guy as well.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW REVIEW!

- Opening segment...I hated the fact we have 4 contenders sitting round like they were about to order lunch, then Reigns, Big Cass, K.O and Rollins get into a breakout fight which was totally unnecessary because the effort should have been on building the suspense for a title match, nothing was gained for any competitor by fighting before the main match, it was was purely done to get that shot of Roman being the last one left in the ring next to the belt....Ummmm WWE we already think he is "Super Reigns" anyway i don;t think you need that shot!. I did like the Vignettes throughout the show and I feel they could have been more effective.

- Jericho delivers another great backstage segment with "Phillipe" Jericho has been firing on all cylinders lately, re-inventing himself with catch phrases as simple as "stupid Idiot" ...Jericho and Neville was a solid match, I liked the finish as long as they don't book continually book Neville as weak and a spot monkey like they have so far!...Neville probably did a few unnecessary high flying moves that he should keep in the bank for big matches otherwise they will lose there effectiveness...Neville really needs too add a submission move to his arsenal.

- Nia Jax squashes another jobber...She can squash as much unknown talent as she wants, Nia Jax does't hold a candle too Charlotte, Sasha, Bailey, Nikki Bella (yes she can wrestle now),Becky Lynch or Paige...Squash matches can be effective...just don;t see a big Nia Jax push on the horizon any time soon

- Really didn't like Bailey's segments, Don't get me wrong I like Bailey as a wrestler and a character and her with the New Day is a great fit!... but I just think she needs too tone it down a bit...she was a bit cringeworthy tonight and really childish, she managed a great balance of being adored by kids and a great wrestler in NXT i hope she can find that balance on Raw

- Another NOT FUNNY segment with Anderson and Gallows...these guys are hilarious in real life...this stuff is so scripted, I don't feel the club is a threat as heels or funny....they are just floating in no mans land too me!

- Sami Zayn vs Jinder Mahal was ok, not a lot mention because there was lack of any real story between the two superstar or the match in general which is really poor of the WWE product at the moment, this is something I think Smackdown is getting right!. Zayn's Haluba kick to Mahal at the end looked brutal and Mahal sold it well. Mahal looks in much better shape this run.

- New Day go over The club, what a surprise...and and what complete stupidity!!!...what was the point of getting the club heat last week by burying the Dudley's only too have them job too New Day?...WWE have no idea what to do with The Club...Dana Brooke did look much better being part of the club than she did "Charlotte's protege"...and Dana Brooke was much better in the ring tonight than she has been in recent weeks!, also Kofi Kingston nearly kills himself by over shooting a somersault over the ropes onto Gallows...

- Braun Strowman squashes jobber, which has kind of been effective for Strowman in recent weeks, there are avenues for his character too go down once WWE decide it's time too stop fighting nobody's...Heel Strowman vs Babyface Big Cass is money in the future if both can progress and grow as main attractions.

- Stephanie McMahon is always great on the mic, so is Heyman obviously...it seemed like Heyman was trying too get across the fact that they formally apologise but.... Brock will be Brock...after going around in circles and back and forth a little bit, Steph bitterly says apology accepted...
This had so much potential to develop into a great story...this is poor writing and i'll explain why....

1. They build up Orton vs Lesnar for Summerslam to get the buy rates up and generate some buzz about the event.

2. Brock leaves Orton in a pool of blood, creating controversy of whether it was a work or shoot...well done WWE for blurring the lines of reality.

--- Here's where they F**k it up! ---

3. Stephanie states that brock will pay a $500 dollar fine which get's us thinking maybe she isn't too upset about Brock giving an F5 to Shane O mac and Brocks actions at Summerslam....maybe they are in Cahoot's?

4. Stephanie states on tonight's show that nobody touches her family and she will address it tonight, like $500 fine wasn't enough...Ummmm Stephanie you set the fine yourself?? why didn't you fine him his whole Summerslam payment?? (Kayfabe of course)

5. Heyman comes out and formally apologises to Stephanie even insulting her with 500 1$ bills, eventually Stephanie say apology accepted...and that's the end of that!...where can they go from here?...such poor story development here!

- Titus vs Backland and Darren Young continues...sloppy finish and nothing different...tho Titus finisher is looking more devastating every week!

- ahh finally, the main event!, WWE nailed this tonight!, Big Cass didn't look out of place either!,the match was great, Roman Reigns worked a great match tonight, he didn't overuse the spear and that splash he did onto Ownes and Cass over the top rope was amazing!...but I mean the ending with Hunter was just brilliant!... when HHH hit the pedigree on Roman to get his boy Seth in firm position to win the belt, I was genuinely shocked...then he rolls K.O into the ring,and wait!...what??...he turns on Seth and lands one of the best pedigree's i have seen in years on Rollins...1...2....3...NEW CHAMPION KEVIN OWENS!!!...a very well booked match...but the stare down between Hunter and Mick Foley, and then the Glare too his wife Stephanie was awesome!....Hopefully that can develop into a storyine because there's so many questions HHH has too answer, why turn on Rollins??, why pick Kevin Owens??...Why the look of detest too Mick Foley and then too his Stehanie???...I'm interested too see the outcome of this next week...i just wish they would add some story too the other 2 and half hours of there show!

I've been very critical of WWE the past couple of years and I've refrained from posting much on here because I'm tired of saying the same things over and over.

Last night's main event was one of the best pieces of business WWE has done in a while. I mean, I have no complaints at all and I'm now genuinely interested and excited to see where this storyline goes moving forward.

Just now watching Raw, but I am loving these matches. Watching Strowman carry these guys around with one arm, tossing them around like ragdolls just cracks me the hell up.
