Side note. What's with the prejudice against Smackdown on this board? The Raw thread is just as barren but it continues to get stickied while the Smackdown one never does haha

Because a mod makes the thread for Raw, 95% of the time.

It's nothing about who makes the thread, it's about WHEN it gets made. If someone wants to make a thread hours in advance, it'll be sticked. If nobody makes it till 2 minutes before, then it's less likely to. No Mercy for example, it's this Sunday, but has anyone created a thread for it? Won't be as likely to get sticked if it's not gonna be posted till 2 minutes before the show and the people who sticky it don't see it till it's too late.

Going back to the SD Talk though...This Miz-Ziggler feud really has a "Wrestlemania" type feel to it. Not a major match or anything, but just the type of build and effort into a feud you'd expect for a WM one. That "WWE 24" video package was great. Bringing in the spirit squad for all this lol! I really do think Ziggler is gonna be gone from WWE. They're out of nowhere acknowledging his Spirit Squad past, even him as Kerwin Whites caddy. Seems like alot of effort to put into a feud that'll just have Ziggler win.

Orton-Wyatt stuff has been great too. And so has the promo battles between Cena-Ambrose-AJ.

And those No Mercy commercials are nice. Not just a generic WWE PPV commercial, those ones actually feel like it's advertising a big event. Miz-Ziggler one for example, like I said before, the feud has a WM feel to it, and the commercial running for their feud gives it that big match feel too.

How is it not a major match? It's the best feud in the company right now, it features two long time superstars feuding over a major belt, and it has a very, very important stipulation.

Every segment between those two has been perfect. Idk who gets my Most Improved award between Miz and Styles.

I meant not a major WM match. It's WM quality, but not like close to WM main event level

Even though I thought Smackdown had the more interesting shows I still felt it was lacking some kind of "big match feel" that Raw had. I can't place it but Smackdown was just missing something.

That has all changed since Backlash. The story telling and feuds that have developed/started leading up to No Mercy have been absolutely unbelievable. I honestly can not remember the last time I was excited for a PPV to see how story's played out and not just to see great matches. They've recaptured how to get me excited for what's going to happen next without the crutch of nostalgia or a potential debut/return. Very impressive.

I just got a chance to watch this week's episode, great job on the mic by Ambrose and Cena. Pretty excited about this Sunday

Based on my TV guides preview for next week's SD, it basically says who wins the Miz-Ziggler match. Unless they're trying to throw people off.
                  It says:
