Is the new game out for the Game Cube (Day of Reckoning or something like that) any good? I got a cube recently and not sure if that might be better

DO NOT get WWE Day Of Reckoning. WWE Day Of Reckoning for GameCube is garbage, a complete failure. My friend bought WWE Day Of Reckoning and we played it. It was a complete dud. My friend sold WWE Day Of Reckoning back to the store: that's how bad it was. It doesn't come anywhere NEAR the level of the SmackDown! games. The only thing it has over the SmackDown! games is that a few of the moves (RKO, Rock Bottom, People's Elbow) look better in Day Of Reckoning, that's it. The Day Of Reckoning CAW doesn't even come close to the SmackDown! CAW, the Create A Wrestler has VERY FEW moves in it, and it has silly appearance parts that would not be used much. NONE of the Legends have their theme music, just the crappy background music for Entrance themes, WHICH YOU CANNOT CHANGE. NONE of the Legends have correct movesets or finishers, which you would have to change. You will be tapping the A button to get off of the mat, get out of stun, or to get out of a submission in the game, and this A button tapping is frustrating garbage that sinks the gameplay.

I hate how THQ / Yukes' gutted the Season Mode In SmackDown! Vs Raw, removed the ability to change the Raw and SmackDown! rosters, removed the ability to choose Faces and Heels, removed Legends from Season Mode, and all the other things they took out. But despite all of this, WWE SmackDown! Vs Raw will still be superior to WWE Day Of Reckoning in match types, gameplay, Challenges, ShopZone, Season Mode, Legends, Create A Wrestler, Create A Moveset, Create A Stable, Create A Belt, and Create A Pay Per View.

Sounded like a pretty even review. Just like many of you, I was turned off to here some of the features that were dropped/flawed in this years title. Online mode being the most significant of them all. I was all for a online wrestling game(especially since its never been done before) and to hear that only 1 on 1 matches can be done, with no stat tracking btw, is quite useless. With no stat tracking, that means that quitters will quit and cheesers will cheese with no remorse. So whats the point of playing?

I'm mad that the commentary and voice overs is generic. As many ways that they can get voices from the real shows, you would think that they would have that down. Blah!!

Why in the name of god cant anyone get the AI of a wrestling game right? What point is it to play a season if you'll never lose? the Smackdown difficulty, while somewhat hard(through the art of cheating) is still unnaceptable. I can still kick the crap out of the cpu and now I have to do it again this year without no doubt of losing. Blah!!

The things I do like however is the create-a-belt and create a PPV feature. That should provide for some good times in multiplayer. Now, we can really fight over a belt. But thats it. Good thing I'm not paying for this game or else I would'nt get it. I rather keep my HCTP and my nice array of CAWs.
