I'm not REALLY complaining. It's just crazy. Back in the PPV Era you KNOW WWE wouldn't get a 7 hr block. That's the beauty of the Network. I think Summerslam is also creeping up in terms of length now too right?

It's a valid question, IMO. If you want a 4 hr show what matches are you getting rid of? The only ones you can really argue are the Battle Royal and Cruiserweight Championship match. Those will probably account for 45 minutes of the show at the most an hour.

And I still have issues with how things are going in WWE but understand why they are happening. I'd love for Goldberg/Lesnar not be for the title and just a regular match on the card and have Jericho/KO for the title. I also understand why they chose to give Bill a run with the title. I'm only OK with it because I loved watching everyone being so hypocritical saying they were going to stop following WWE the night of Fastlane but are still watching right now. Also I know that Goldberg was a draw.

Raw does drag on each and every week but with TV rights being WWE's main revenue source, I know it's not going away anytime soon. I don't get the AJ Styles/Shane decision at all. I wanted Shinsuke, Joe and others up during the draft. It's damn near criminal that neither Shinsuke or Joe debuted on the main roster in 2016.

I also have gone back and now think that the hot potato with the Raw women's title was ****. I was ok with it at first because it actually made a title defense on Raw mean something. I hate that titles rarely change hands on a weekly show and only happen on PPVs. Also I think Charlotte has been shoved down our throats just like everyone says about Roman Reigns. I mean she still hasn't technically lost at a PPV in over a year. She could be a 5 time champion at night's end, all in less than a year and a half. I also thought that it was stupid that Nikki Bella won that match on Raw in late 2015 against Charlotte just so she could hold the belt another 6 days to end AJ Lee's streak as longest Divas champion.

But that's irrelevant to the point STPO was making. It's seven hours of wrestling. Seven. I LOVE wrestling and I know I wouldn't be able to sit through that if I didn't have a second screen to give me a break. You don't need all of those matches. Did they build them up for tonight? Absolutely. But you don't need that much time.

Yep, that's the point i'm making. I'm not "mad" because hey, it's Vince's money and talent out there. He can do whatever he wants but last year proved that there's a breaking point to every fan. By the time the show got to its 5th hour people were starting to tune out and the main event lost a LOT of its luster because the crowd was so exhausted though they tried to be into it.

7 hours is just TOO MUCH.

Wait, is it 7 hours again or are we assuming? It's still "officially" 4 for the show and 2 for the preshow right?

Man, if they go 7 hours again...****. Even five for the PPV and part of the preshow I'll actually watch seems like too much.

It is too much, I'm not arguing that. I just wanna know how you would cut down on time to make it a 4 hour show with a hour 1 pre-show without sacrificing all the key matches on the card. I can think of 2 or 3 matches that shouldn't be on the card. The Battle Royal, Cruiserweight match, and IC title. The Battle Royal is a great idea but it doesn't mean anything in reality. No one really cares about the cruiserweights and I don't think most people would care if they didn't get a match at Mania. The IC title match seems kind of thrown together at the last minute but it's also a major title that should be defended at a Mania event. So that's one I would have to think about more.

And the second post was in response to you saying how hard I cape for the current product. Yes I defend the current product at times (and more often then not) but that doesn't mean I am in Everything is Awesome mode.

I'll tune in 45 minutes before the main show starts and just fast forward through the pre show to see if anything worthwhile happened. The cruiserweight match is all I really need to see, I'll just see if there are any surprise participants in the battle royal and then fast forward to the end to see Strowman most likely win. If I were going to change anything about the weekend I'd move Takeover back to Friday rather than cut the length of WrestleMania. I was busy and couldn't watch last night so I had to catch it this morning, so it's a long day of wrestling for me

That match should have been a DQ win for her, that's why I said technically.
