So I just watched it, and it was brilliant. Follow up promo was fantastic, we have a DESPERATELY needed midcard heel and maybe even a heel stable.

Why not Sammy? Because Randy is champ. Do you want to saddle him with a divided crowd right now?

Why not Harper? Because Randy is champ. The mixed signals with Bray still involved, plus you need to blow off Rowan first.

    Absolutely a great move.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

Sometimes you want to see a complete outsider to just see if he could pull it off. One of the best feuds in recent years was R-Truth vs. Cena and a big portion of that was the ridiculousness that R-Truth might actually become WWE Champion.
That's a good point. R-Truth was as big a WTF pick as Jinder is, and that turned out entertaining.

I mean, I don't have tickets to Backlash and announcing Jinder vs Orton doesn't make me any more likely to buy them, but I'm open to seeing what happens. Maybe it'll suck, but we won't know until it happens. At the very least it's more interesting than other picks just on how random it is.

I remember when R-Truth used a water bottle as a weapon and it got over.

Heel R-Truth was great. Everything from his heel turn itself to all his funny crazy promos, little Jimmy and everything was so good.

Am I the only one who thinks the SD writers are booking based on dares?

"I bet you can't get Raw's biggest jobbers over"

(Time share guys beat the top tag team and the man who comes in peace is #1 contender).

Jokes aside I loved Mahal's promo tapping in to people's inner-racist ("You people hate diversity"). The heat he got was pretty heavy. Awesome job Jinder!

Ironically, I think that entire group is from Canada, but I guess they're gonna be billing them from India instead? Or maybe they'll combine it both? Have the characters be like "Canada actually accepts diversity unlike USA" and go that route to gain heat.
