Yup, I barely watch the PPVs anymore except for WM, SS, SurSer and RR.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

They're making tons of money so they're just going to do what they want to do regardless so I'm not going to bother writing out a response full of things that I've accepted won't happen.Comment

I've always been told if I don't like what's happening with the company don't watch. I've basically done that. My DVR has recordings for Raw and Smackdown set still, but I literally don't even watch them. I don't even watch and fast forward through stuff any more. I just delete it after 3 or 4 episodes of each has built up without me ever caring to make time to sit down and watch.
Usually I can't help myself but to at least try to keep up with what's going on, but I haven't sat down to watch a show in any capacity since Mania.Comment

I think that is just how bad the current state of the WWE is right now. NXT, I'll sit and watch NXT the entire show. Takeover? Hell Yeah I'll watch start to finish. New Japan, I'll watch. ROH, I'll watch. But getting through RAW, SD and the main roster PPVs? It's getting tough, the storylines aren't there to draw me in. Sure SD Live has AJ, Bryan, Nakamura, Joe, and all this great talent to be the wrestling show of WWE but without interesting storylines to draw me in, I've watched it since I was kid but my interest is slowly, very slowly going away.Comment

It's crazy though, right? Just a couple years ago, we all would get HEATED on here with each other about the product. It's safe to assume that guys like us that discuss wrestling online would lean more towards being passionate about it and WWE has sucked that right out of us. It's been a 4 year ride of the Roman Reigns experiment...it clearly hasn't worked and we fought it for so many years, and now we just don't care anymore. I'm curious if TV ratings have declined. I didn't even bother watching Backlash and read it was one of the worst PPVs in awhile. I have zero desire to watch Money in the Bank as well.Comment

Even when I kind of took a sabbatical after Eddie died, I didn't watch religiously every week but I still kept up with what was going on and would occasionally tune into Raw before I eventually came back to watching regularly back before Punk's pipe bomb. I rolled pretty strong keeping up with Raw, Smackdown not so much, but I was still invested in the company and what was happening. Now it's like....I don't even care to check on it. I'll hop on the Network and watch through old episodes but I haven't even done that in a few months like I was doing before I started my 1 Marvel movie a day leading up to the release of Infinity War. Like...Vince just straight killed my enthusiasm for wrestling.Comment

I think it's pretty funny that Reigns is so far in your head, man. After all this time? You've quit watching much of the show, and he's still in there, huh? Geez.
WWE's problem of being stale, boring, and safe is about more than any one character on the show.

It just doesn't sound like there's anything interesting at all going on. And of course the rumored Summerslam main event ofSpoilerLesnar/Reigns yet againComment

Re: Changes you would make to bring back Interest!!!
Yeah I don't know it's crazy how sterile WWE has become about the product. I remember in middle school and high school I'd rush home after school and make sure I got all my homework done and out of the way so at 7 o'clock I got nothing getting in the way of me watching the first hour of Nitro and then flipping back and forth between that and Raw at 8. I HAD to watch every week and when my parents would let me, I was getting the PPV for that month and I'd be pissed whenever I had to miss a show. I found something I wanted to see in every segment of the show even if the in ring action wasn't all that good on some matches. Even when I got my first job and was working nights I missed Smackdown, but I at least made sure I was home to watch Raw every Monday.
