I'm legit happy for Bryan Danielson for fighting to do everything to get cleared to return to the ring. For all of it to pay off tonight, happy for him.

The WWE gave him the title back but said not in the way we all thought. It will be Mania 30 all over again with celebration and how Bryan fought for his dreams to get the title back, etc. NOPE. WWE gave us the ultimate swerve and turned him heel and I'm still trying to process what just happened.

Again... AJ Styles hasn't learned to wear a cup and we are close to 2019.

That was so out of left field that I'm still trying to process what I just saw. I wasn't all that invested in the match because I was expecting Raw to interfere

Same here, sad thing is I don't really care much for Lesnar/Bryan but more so how they progress the heel turn following Survivor Series.

Yeah I'm interested to see where they go from here, that leaves things really thin on the babyface side. You've got AJ and the only other big names are Mysterio and Hardy compared to Bryan, Joe, Miz, Nakamura, and Orton RKO'ing everyone. Maybe they'll just turn everyone heel

Bryan being my second all time favorite wrestlers, and being devastated when he had to retire, I am so happy to see this. I never thought they would give him the title again. Figured they would think he's too big of an injury risk.

Also surprised Vince believes in him to carry the blue brand. And the heel turn makes it even better.

As far as Lesnar, we all know who's winning, but this could end up being a very entertaining match.

But I have to ask why did all this happen? There's no way they could think AJ and Lesnar couldn't put on a great match. I wonder if AJ is hurt?

What a crazy couple of nights.

So that’s two years in a row they teased a Raw invasion that never came and took the title off the current champion to make a more interesting match with Brock.

I had a feeling once the WWE app said breaking news: Styles vs Bryan tonight for the title, that Bryan was going to win it. Just had a feeling so I tuned in the last 2 minutes and sure enough...I saw the ref bump coming so then I thought that would be the end, a DQ finish. Did NOT see that heel turn coming.

It was bound to happen within a couple of months anyways if you believe the rumors for the Mania title matches. Also AJ has a year long reign and faced pretty much everyone there was to face outside of Almas and Miz. Almas isn’t at that level yet. Vince sees him as that type of guy or he wouldn’t be facing former WWE champions every month or so on TV. I’ll leave why he didn’t face Miz alone for now.

A couple other thoughts I had that I forgot about after the shock of the title change. Paige is doing a way better job as GM than I expected, she plays the role perfectly. She's impartial and can stand up to anyone but isn't in the spotlight. Great promo by Nakamura tonight too

What bizarre booking. Change the main event 5 days out by taking the title off Styles on a random Smackdown show. Huh. What the hell is Lesnar vs Bryan gonna be? Idk.

Did Styles not want to get squashed again or something? lol

                            Crazy sauce.

                            Bummer about Beck.

Can't believe SS is this Sunday.

Maybe I should start watching stuff on the day it airs.

Haven't done so much lately, and have been spoiled on Reigns announcement, Ambroses turn and now Bryans turn/title win.

                              Wasn't expecting this at all.

If a month ago you told someone that we'd see Universal Champ Lesnar vs WWE Champ Bryan, nobody would believe you.

Survivor Series the last couple of years has had several last-minute changes to matches. It's like WWE doesn't pay attention to who's on what brand and then decides to fantasy book like last year with AJ beating Jinder for the title, even though they were just days away from the tour of India, which was a large part of the reason Jinder won the strap in the first place.

I'm all for a Daniel Bryan heel turn, though. The magic from 4 years ago wasn't there with Bryan as a face (partly due to booking), so why not turn him heel? Plus, that means we'll likely get more AJ-Bryan matches (TLC, maybe the Rumble) so I'm good with that, too.
