I'm sure the PPV revenue helps a lot, but in this day and age, especially when the main audience has been used to streaming live events for the last decade now (I believe WM30 or 31 was the first one on the network?), I think they need to have streaming deals.

Yeah, I guess it's good that you can buy their PPVs on Prime now, but they were already on every conceivable platform, including YouTube. I don't think anyone was struggling to find a good place to watch them. This is purely about the optics of partnering with a huge media company. Makes me wonder if they plan on becoming a publicly traded company at some point.

Saraya to announce her departure from AEW on her new podcast. This comes a day after saying how she would love to go back to WWE.

That's surprising to hear. Wonder why AEW didn't want to keep her.

It's no secret how young she got in to wrestling, but it's also crazy to think she got in to WWE at such a young age to the point where if she returned today she'd be only 4 years older than Lyra.

Also, sounds like Britt Baker removed AEW from her social media profile. Doesn't mean she's gone but it could also mean that.....

This is a great compromise to avoid conflicting with Saturday Night's Main Event. Though, the Texas heat outdoors in July may be rough for the fans and wrestlers. AEW All In Texas to begin at 2PM, with a weekend full of festivities.

If AEW has to schedule their big show to not conflict with SNME, then that doesn't seem right.

Sure, more are watching SNME than All In, but it's not like SNME is Summerslam or something.

2pm in Texas does seem like a weird time though.

I could understand 6pm local time, that makes way more sense.

That's embarrassing, but at the end of the day i'm assuming the idea is to let as many people watch both shows live as possible.

I read that they've sold around 11k tickets, with a $1M gate in ticket sales. At a baseball stadium with a 40k capacity...11k is bad. I feel like that perfectly illustrates the current state of pro wrestling in general. Fewer fans paying more money. Lower TV ratings, but networks paying more and more in TV rights for an ever dwindling live audience that they can advertise to.

I wouldn't say a pro wrestling issue since WWE has been fine drawing fans with their higher ticket prices.

But it is more of a societal "people being more selective on what to spend money on".

If you're choosing between $60 for an AEW show or $100 for a WWE show, you're probably choosing WWE over thinking about going for BOTH if you're budgeting money but still want to go to at least one thing.

You realize the set up for All In is for like 18,000...and they've sold about 13,000...

Some injuries to report, Orange Cassidy is out with a torn pec while Jay White suffered a broken hand. It is also believed Mark Davis is also injured. Once again.... injuries impacting AEW.

Well, there's a reason it's only set up for 18k. A year ago when they announced the show all the talk was that it's a 40k stadium show. This is not how they planned this to go.

$50 for a PPV in 2025... when will AEW ever learn. I'm excited for the PPV tonight, should be a good one like always.

Anthony Bowens has so much potential as a singles star, TK better not let him slip away like he did Penta & Rey Fenix.

I can't justify it right now. Especially with so many matches the feel like they could be on Dynamite/Collision. The Owen tournament matches 100% don't belong on PPV.

Yeah I agree, there's 10 total matches and if you remove the 3 Owen tournament matches then the card goes down to 7. The finals are at Double or Nothing right? I can see the semi-finals taking place at the PPV before DON to determine the finals but quarter-finals? It's a bit much.
