Summerslam is "blast from the past", why not Rikishi vs Reigns. Is it sad I'd rather see that over Reigns vs Joe lol.

Was a weird ending. Thought they'd just end it right there, but they continued for another minute to show Reigns get up all fine and walk away. Guess they wanted "it's still real to me" fans to not be worried or something?

It makes such a difference in the energy of the show.

Of course in 1996 we weren't the ****ty fans that we are nowadays either so that matters too.
Blame goes to both the promotion and the fans.

WWE deserves blame for trolling for heat and not paying stuff off over and over again for years and years. And it's also partly that people remember when the product was better, and can't help but compare now to then.

The fans deserve blame for spending top dollar for tickets to these shows, knowing what WWE puts on its shows every week, and not playing along and interacting with the show. You're on TV, be loud and have fun.If you don't like the product stop supporting it. Maybe if the prices for tickets to these shows went down they'd get more families going to them. Idk.

Lol. I saw Rikishi and his family (including Jacob Fatu) perform at an indie show earlier this year, and I'm gonna say he probably can't do that match.

I think that's true of sports in general.

In many markets we're seeing teams jack up prices and pricing out the noisier hardcore fans. The tickets sell, but are more the richer, sitting on their hands, just showing up because their kid wants to go people.

Those people at games probably aren't gonna watch if they're at home, compared to the big fan where even if they aren't there in person, they're watching.

Worse than undertaker a few years ago?

Speaking of which, why did they abandon the taker vs drew feud for ss? He just randomly came back for like 2 weeks and left.

The ending of SD Live definitely has Bischoff written all over it. Bischoff loved cliff hanger endings, curious if this is a short term way to reveal Reigns' opponent that isn't Samoa Joe for Summerslam or if it will build over time and the mystery attacker is revealed later on.

Yeah, checking the ticket prices for next week's Raw, there isn't anything for less than $75 per ticket unless you want to sit in the top level, or the back rows of the level below it. Floor seats are all at least $120. I wonder how much a ticket to Raw in 1996 was adjusted for inflation.

That King's Court segment with Trish Stratus was so predictable if you read dirtsheet news. Trish Stratus randomly comes back and gets challenged by Charlotte for a match at Summerslam. Great promo work from both ladies though. Kinda felt there was no need for Bliss/Cross to be on Smackdown again this week. They beat Ember Moon and Bayley in a tag team match. Happy to see Bliss active but no sign of the Tag Team champs?

Fine match between Stone Cold Kevin Owens/McIntrye. At the cost of seeing McIntrye taking losses. I feel like Finn Balor is going to take the L's on his way to his wedding honeymoon. Shinsuke/Ali was a nice match. As well as the match between Kofi/Styles. That Orton video segment was cool too. And lastly, who tried to "kill" Roman Reigns with that stage collapse? Was it Samoa Joe (who Reigns has defeated many times already)? Was it Daniel Bryan? Was it Buddy Murphy? Or was it Rikishi? Got to love cliffhanger endings.

I hardly go to Raw. Buy tickets to Smackdown instead. $18 gets you only a 7 or 8 rows off the floor.
