In fairness it's dumb that that counts as a loss for MJF lol. DQ logic is always dumb.

I thought AEW didn't have DQ finishes?

Well, I might as well have a weekly checklist at this point:

1) Blading for no apparent reason but to make matches "more intense."

2) Take veiled shots or outright mention "the other company" in an insulting manner.

WWE is living rent - free in Punk's mind at this point.

I'm kind of happy his bitter *** never main evented a Wrestlemania.

Which is confusing cause I thought they were going to "not care about each other" or something along those lines?

I'm fine with the feud continuing if they actually involve the rest of the Pennacle. Which I don't understand why they refuse to use the numbers advantage against Punk?

Jericho and those God awful hair plugs should be the last one insulting someone's looks.

True true. I guess the logic is you put as much space between that first match and any other competitive match as possible. It's the downside of live TV wrestling and ratings logic.

Not necessarily.

This is more an issue with modern televised wrestling and recently AEW.

He could've easily started with this, had the Wardlow squash, then tag title & finish with the biggest match. You know to build anticipation and buzz for the main event.

Instead, people can bail cause the rest of the show has been subpar.

This isn't RAW where the show tanks after the 2nd hour. And now this match has shenanigans & Ruby is "hurt" to soften the possible loss.

This is the longest match Jade has had I think…and it’s not been the smoothest, especially towards the end when she was out in the deep end.

I figured from the beginning, this was set up for Jade to win.

And here’s my complaint…here we have an emotional moment. A new champion. Instead of letting it breathe…we cut straight to a video package.

Yeah, I was gonna post something like that. Jade is a very WWE type choice for champion. She can't really go at all, but she has the look. If it's about actual wrestling we know who is actually better.
