Meh. Not everything is meant to work in front of a crowd. Some stuff is just meant for building a character.

Even Fiend vs Orton in an inferno match, that clearly couldn't happen, at least not in the way they did it, with any sort of crowd.

And those cinematic matches wouldn't work with crowds either. Imagine that Boneyard match at this years WM. Fans would've booed it.

The Bliss stuff with the doll hopefully does get wrapped up soon. They have an easy end to the story by revealing there never was some doll with magical powers. All of this was in Alexas head, or actually The Fiends doing (plotting his own demise to punish Alexa).

Although from what I read, seems like concussions could cut Alexas career short, which is why she's not competing much anymore. Her doing a character which requires little to no matches is probably best right now.

I believe it. She is so tiny. Her matches were never anything special. She should be a manager, because she can talk.

I think it might have been from a bump in her match with Rousey which contributed to it as well.

Her matches weren't a Sasha, Becky, Bayley level of great, but her characters were good and it had me caring more about her matches than some technical specialists match.

I wouldn't mind her in a manager role, but we know that unless your name is Paul Heyman, WWE doesn't care about managers so much. She'd just be there cheering on someone from ringside, one day being the reason they lost a match, gets dropped from managing them, and that's about it.

Not sure how she would do on commentary, but she's definitely someone who seems like they could just talk for hours at a time.

Correct. Alexa is/was such an amazing character that I 100% was always into her matches even if she wasn’t putting in a clinic. I will ALWAYS take a match with a really good story/stakes behind it over a Tokyo Dome 5* match

Correct. Alexa is/was such an amazing character that I 100% was always into her matches even if she wasn’t putting in a clinic. I will ALWAYS take a match with a really good story/stakes behind it over a Tokyo Dome 5* match

Which is an issue I have with wrestling today.

Most people (fans and talent) seem to care more about some technical classic over actual story or character.

It's like the Incredibles line. When everyone is super, nobody will be. Same with technical wrestling. It was special in past eras because most guys weren't like that. But now that everyone does it, it's not special, and just generic match #4 of the night.

You think Shane McMahon vs Kane was a technical masterpiece? No. But to this day I still remember those moments in their feud because of the great story.

I could see a modified version. Do it on the stage like Moment of Bliss. So you could still have that door without people seeing who's at it.

To think, Bayley had only been infront of fans for half a year as a heel.
