Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread

Just realized what Becky did on Raw.

She was joking on the weekend that since she's not at summerslam, she'll make lemonade with all the lemons she's been given.

She shows up to Raw tonight with the finished product, and then spit out the lemonade HHH style.

I'd be down for some big main event.

Rollins vs Balor vs Nakamura vs Rhodes in a fatal 4 way for the title.

We've already seen Rollins vs Balor and Rollins vs Rhodes, but this keeps them in the title scene while not redoing the same feud as before.

Survivor Series or Royal Rumble is where I can see a Fatal 4 Way between Roman, Solo, Jey, and Jimmy. Plus you could get Rikishi involved as a special enforcer or they can finally get The Rock to show up and acknowledge his family is falling apart.

          What an excellent show.

LA Knight and Miz have a chance to have a really, really good feud. I just hope it's not only a mic-work feud. I miss feuds where other stuff happens too.

I liked a lot of aspects of the show including the finish. Much needed.

If there's a Cody/Reigns match I don't think it happen at Wrestlemania again. It cheapens last Wrestlemania and also cheapens Cody winning. Why have it last time then. They didn't *have* to force it. Could have just as easily had Roman/Sami then. Seeing something we've seen for the redemption....I don't know. It'd be hard to top 39's match too.

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread

Some decent stuff happened on RAW post Summerslam. We had an announce team switch with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett. Cody had a decent promo with Seth Rollins appearing. Then the Judgment Day came out, a brawl happened then Sami Zayn came out to help the babyfaces. Of course this leads to a tag team main event match playa playa! If Kevin Owens is really out for a while due to injury, please have them drop the Tag Team Titles. Or split them back to their own shows again WWE. Fatal Four-Way #1 contenders match for the IC Title was pretty good with Gable getting the win. Now he gets another shot at Gunther after they just had a solid bout not too long ago.

Miz and LA Knight had the promo of the night. Awesome exchange between the two. The fans are clearly behind LA Knight. But he's a Smackdown star so I hope the WWE keeps their brand extension serious. Shinsuke defeated Bronson Reed as this is hopefully the end of their feud because this wasn't the last we saw of Shinsuke for the night. Bazler vs Zoey Stark was a fresh match. I just wonder if this is a serious push for Shayna. Otis is really starting to act like his babyface persona from a few years back. New Day is back. Nice to see Kofi again as they got a win over the Viking Raiders. Main event tag team match was fine for what it was. Shinsuke being in the match was just another step into what was going to happen post match. Seth has a new feud for now while I wonder what Cody is going to do next.

One day someone's gonna intentionally low blow Dominik Mysterio and will get one of the biggest pops ever.

If they’re doing an injury angle with Escobar, replace him with the Megastar in tonight’s match

Trying not to perv on a married woman, but Mia Yim has looked fine as hell since coming back (and ditching all the baggy clothes). Keith Lee is for sure a very lucky man.

I like this intensity from Kross. I still think this should've been a gimmick match, unless they are gonna have a final match at Payback.

Welp, I guess the highlight of the return for Kross was beating Drew McIntyre in a strap match. Dude has been a pin eating machine and hasn't won another meaningful feud by since.

So they're doing the old "Triple threat loss but I didn't get beat so I should get a rematch" with Charlotte?

But then Bianca got cashed in on, so she should get a rematch.

Asuka was the original champ going into SS, but even though there's no rematch clause anymore, she should still get a rematch.

I love how Heyman scurries outside the ring any time there is the slightest chance of something physical breaking out

Well, I wasn't expecting that curveball.

Jey is "quitting" The Bloodline, Usos and WWE. [emoji15]

                              Rey wins the US title?

Is this to set up a future feud with Santos? Why else wouldn't they just let Santos take the title from Theory?

Or is this just so Rey can rival Dom who is the US champ? If Wargames happens again this year, perhaps it's LWO vs Judgment Day (especially if JD joins the JD)

I know the internet hasn't loved the Usos split, but this is just another layer to the Bloodline.

Jimmy didn't cost Jey the match because he's jealous of Jey or hates Jey. It's for the opposite reason. He doesn't want Jey to be the tribal chief or be the next Roman Reigns.

But now obviously Jey is mad at Jimmy for costing him, and he decides he's done and just walks out of WWE?!

Part of me thinks we won't even get a Bloodline story next week. With Edge competing and they have Sami,KO and McIntyre vs Imperium as the dark match after the show, perhaps they're trying to "make up" for the fact that Reigns and the Usos won't even appear on what could possibly be the biggest SD (attendance wise) of the year.

The explanation made more sense than a jealousy story would've, so I'm alright with it. Still don't think it's great, but it's not terrible.

Jey just leaving is something new for the story though, so I'm interested in seeing how it keeps rolling from here.
