Good show of RAW this week. Opening promo with Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch. Both ladies had good promos but dang, the crowd reaction. The crowds seem to not want to boo Rhea anymore while Becky is still beloved. This match could end being a babyface vs babyface match up if this keeps up. Only Dominik's role in this will keep it a traditional heel vs babyface.
With the Miz a babyface now (and he's been good at it this time), Shinsuke Nakamura is the new Miz. The one where the company tries to treat as a threat in beating his opponents. But all he does now is job. Zayn defeats him in another stellar match. Chelsea Green might have gotten squashed by Racquel Rodriguez but her characterwork keeps her memorable while Racquel still lacks a character. I'm impartial to the Gunther promo. I have no clue who will ever dethrone him at this point. Dont think it will be Dominik. Match of the night was the Street Fight between the New Day and Imperium. Some great spots here and loved the elbow drop spot from Woods. Great promo from McIntrye and Rollins. Drew's character makes it hard to root against him. Seth is Seth. At least he is still staying true to his character. I honestly thought Liv Morgan was going to get squashed by Nia Jax in their match. It was going that way. But glad it ended with a non finish to protect Liv who can't afford a loss yet. And she's still hot to look at. Rhodes vs Waller was a good match. But um, brand split WWE? Waller and Theory are Smackdown superstars. Whatever. Strong promo work post match with Heyman and Cody. Seeing this aggressive side of Cody is needed as he continues to want to finish his story.
