Not really, at least according to Joe Gacy. He said something like people just saw a heavy guy with a beard and tattoos playing a slightly dark character and had to associate it with something they already knew.

That's part of it too which is the point.

You're playing a cult leader type of character like Wyatt was, and back when it was just Wyatt and Harland, it did feel similar to Wyatt and Cottonwood if anyone ever saw FCW.

And Gacy saying he's not like Wyatt when he also did Wyatt's upside down creepy bit in the ring too at times...

Drew is going to show up to Smackdown in Chicago and take Punk out in his hometown. Drew quit so he can sneak into the building with his giant sword and likely kill Punk lol.


On a serious note..... damn you Rock for spoiling he signed a new contract. Imagine if that didn't get revealed, him saying he quit would have led fans to believe that he was actually quitting since we all knew his contract was up.

If not Rock, someone definitely would have. That's what I hate about dirtsheets and fans reading them. You can't complain something isn't exciting or a surprise when you're reading articles that basically spoils and reveals stuff.

It's too tough in today's world to try for as realistic a story as that when you'll have 10 different outlets reveal its just a story and not real or even reality based.

I pretty much hated everything Bray Wyatt ever did with the exception of the introduction of the Fiend from Summersam 2019 up until his HIAC match with Rollins. But that was a good debut. Nikki Cross was legit terrifying.

I'm skeptical of how it will stick and play out long term as I think one of Wyatt's flaws was that his stuff never went anywhere. But I will definitely give this a chance. Even though I was not a Bray Wyatt fan I think it's great they are giving his brother a chance to honor his legacy.

Regardless of my feelings about Bray the performer he seemed like a genuinely good person and I know many loved what he did. He also seems to be so widely loved by his peers. His death was tragic. I hope this angle works well and truly does honor the man.

I'm sure Howdy can be like "We came to you out of a vision of the future" or something like that.

One thing I've seen pointed out on social media. Rowan's costume includes not only the hammer honoring Harper, but the back of his mask is Harper's mask from the Bludgeon Brothers.

Drew did mention in that Clash interview that before re-signing his deal he was thinking of just taking time off. What if that was part of the deal. He re-signed, gets some time off anyways, then just returns.

Although SD in Chicago, surely they have Drew show up right?

No longer with WWE, what if he gets arrested on top of all that since he'd technically be trespassing.

Vince survived a limo explosion, they'll be fine. Funny enough it also happened 17 years ago almost to the day!

But one idea I heard someone bring up was the camera being directed by Cross to go to the back was like a "portal" through the doorway which showed visions/fantasy. The characters coming out of the door was like fantasy turning into reality. So everything we saw was just a vision of what could come, their own creation in their fantasy world. Similar to Cena at WM entering the fun house and Wyatt basically turning it into a fantasy world.

My only (creative) issue with the segment was when Cross pointed back I wish the camera would've gone through the door instead of around it.

Like we've seen people come out of that "realm" but that would've been a good opportunity to appear like going into *into* that realm.
