At Survivor Series, we got both the IC Championship & US Championship on the same card, now we getting both World Titles defended on the same show at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Finn vs Gunther is going to be good.

That would be interesting where an EC match determines the champ, but the bigger stakes are facing Cena in his final WM.

As good as Cena vs Gunther might be though, I'd still prefer Cenas final WM being something bigger. But if we're possibly getting Rock vs Roman, Punk vs Rollins, Cody vs Orton, who could Cena face?

Damn, what a swerve job. I totally thought that Big E would be (miraculously) medically cleared and the New Day wouldn't disband.

Never thought they would pull Kofi/Xavier blaming injured Big E for all their misfortune. And essentially kick him out of the group. Damn!

That went completely not how I thought it would go. I know we have Seth & Sami in the main event but damn that should have closed the show.

I thought the same thing that should've been the show closing segment. Other than that grip, that was a masterful job by all three men, especially when you know how much they mean to each other IRL.

Unless he has enough prep time to deliver in a singles match, does it even really matter? His matches against Solo and Theory were crap and it'd be terrible for him to put out another performance like that at his last Mania.

There's only one man that can back up Big E. in his feud against Kofi and Woods if he ever got cleared....and that's R-Truth. Why? Truth has history with both. Tag champs with Kofi, TNA tag champs with Woods AND didnt Woods debut on the main roster in a tag team with Truth?

Big E's return tonight makes me think of this video and how Big E's injury was all due to what might be the biggest butterfly effect in WWE history. Our current timeline doesn't even happen at all, it's insane how a positive covid test, Vince hitting the panic button at Day 1, 2022 not only gave us the Bloodline storyline as we know it, but likely ended Big E's career.

It's a really well researched video but to give the cliff notes....

- Roman getting COVID canceled the match between Brock & Roman for the Universal Championship at Day 1 2022. Roman at that point was Champion for 500 days, and was supposed to drop the title to Brock. Meaning he never hits 1,316 days, let alone a 1,000 days as Champion.

- Seth Rollins was supposed to win the WWE Championship in the Fatal 4 Way. With Brock being added, Vince changed plans and had Brock win. We then got Lashley vs Lesnar at the Rumble, with Seth vs Roman for the Universal Championship. Roman costs Brock the title to Lashley, Lesnar enters the Rumble to get a match with Roman.

- He now goes into the Elimination Chamber match to get the WWE Championship back to make it a winner take all against Roman. Brock wins, setting up the match for both titles.

- Big E who now is not champion, goes to Smackdown and in a tag team match gets injured. Seth Rollins who would have been WWE Champion, isn't in need of a opponent at Mania and isn't Cody's first opponent in his return match. The titles likely stay split, they don't need to create a new World Title in 2023........... but yeah. Roman's whole title reign was because of a positive covid test.

Holy damn hell what an amazing show.

Seth/Sami promo was absolutely incredible. Tons of truth. Wasn't Seth saying that people are pissed at Sami for teaming with Punk and Roman? Drew coming in amazing because that's exactly why he's pissed with Sami. Unreal story weaving.

Gunther/Finn stuff great. Those two would put on a hell of a match.

New Day segment was incredible. Especially for me considering it's been years since I've given a single ****. I hope E is actually close to coming back. I didn't (and don't) have any idea this was even a possibility. It's great not knowing stuff in wrestling. Highly impactful segment.

Just really good stuff all around. More please.

Great opening promo on this week's RAW to set the tone for the rest of the show. Punk/Rollins remains a feud that will linger in our minds on the road to WM. Loved everything both stars said in this promo. Punk said some memorable stuff mentioning about Rollins used to having a Title that Punk wants. Then Sami Zayn's involvement here was good and made sense with everything that has been going on. I didnt hate the women's stuff. It was there to progress storylines and for the new midcard Title.

The New Day was very good. I was hoping for a turn to happen but did not expect it to happen that way. It was obvious Big E was going to be involved here and the way how he was integrated into it made sense. Big E had to take some verbal shots here. I can't believe the World Champion of RAW doesn't main event shows though. His match was like 3rd last of the show or something like that. You never saw stuff like this back in the days when the World Champion used to main event all the time. Main event was good. Nothing too special. Is Seth going to turn heel again in the future? And that reveal to end the show. I'm fine with it as its been a while since we seen him. Good show this week.

One thing I'm thinking about for E is that IF he's close to coming back, maybe at the Rumble?


There's no PLE for almost 2 months, so no "desk job" for him to go back to for a while.

IF he's cleared, what if we get a moment in the Rumble where it's Kofi and Woods as the only guys in the ring, then E's music hits!


Also, if we get tag match, maybe E brings in Trick Williams? Using all that New Day heat to elevate a new star. If there's one person you'd love seeing New Day pass the torch to, it'd be him. Maybe they were trying to do that for Odyssey (perhaps the split was supposed to be Kofi with Odyssey while Woods split from them and sided with E?)

Bronson Reed, Toa Loa and Jimmy Uso out INDEFINITELY. Now of course some could be kayfabe obviously (look at how fast Rhea came back) but damn that's crazy.
