I don't know how much longer they can keep Jey from winning a World Title. As soon as his song played, the whole arena was singing and Yeeting along. Like Pat said, that might have been the best YEET Performance by a crowd ever.

Just give Jey the Rumble win and have him beat Gunther in a rematch at Wrestlemania to become World Champion.

Ending the show with a Punk/Rhodes promo was an interesting way to go.

Don't think we'll see a Punk/Rhodes feud unless Rhodes retains at WM which I don't think he should.

          What a spectacular show.

****. That ending promo was stellar.

I am loving Kross' influence on Zayn. Great story.

There are *so many* ways they can go. So many stories. So many main events I just think "damn, that should be the main event."

And that's really all I want.

Good show of RAW this week. Strong promo work along with some great wrestling matches. Opening promo was great with Rollins/Gunther/Logan Paul. Each star brought up good points as their motive for Royal Rumble. While Gunther has been doing well in his segments lately as the shows hardly revolve him. Logan Paul must be in the upper card of the company now.

JD McDonagh's spot in that tag team match was insane. And it looks like he got injured. Kudos to him for finishing the match. I didnt mind the New Day stuff. Liv Morgan and Rodriguez defeating Bianca and Naomi must be leading to a tag team Title chase. Paul Heyman/Drew McIntrye promo was good too. Drew had to remind everyone how the Bloodline first formed. Then his match against Sami Zayn was solid too. Post match stuff happened with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Brand split must not really matter at this point. They trying to make us wonder if Sami will help Owens. Lastly, amazing promo from Cody/CM Punk. I was missing these kind of promos from Cody. Punk brought out the fire in Cody and his material was great. If there was ever a time where fans wanted to know where Punk got the CM initials from, this was it. Great promo as I had to instantly watch it again after the show was over.

I doubt it happens, but KO beating Cody for the title thanks to Zayn, but then KO vs Zayn happens at Wrestlemania (KO admits after the Rumble he isnt giving Zayn a title shot which leads to Zayn winning the EC in Toronto to earn the right to face KO) would be a cool route to go too, but don't see that happening at all.

CM definitely originated as Chick Magnet, but seems like he's turned it into a more generic thing ever since where the CM can stand for anything (Chicago Made being one of them).

As for the JD spot, good news is he didn't get seriously hurt because that could've ended way worse. Bad news is he's still injured and looks like he'll be out through WM.

Was it just me, or did JD just get completely abused that entire match? Take out that table spot, dude still just got his butt kicked.. Jesus!

War Raiders looked very sloppy that whole time IMO.

Definitely. JD seems like a tough dude. He's on the shelf for a couple months it looks like.

Imo there's two sides to the JD injury.

On one hand, he's getting praised by everyone for wanting to continue and finish the match despite knowing he's injured.

On the other hand, how do you not take him out of it? I think history has shown that superstars shouldn't have final say on if a match should continue or not. Especially his kind of injury, that 100% should've been concussion protocol instantly just to be safe.

He's "lucky" he's only injured for a few months as it could've been much worse, but if he was injured way worse than this, it could be the Matt Hardy situation all over again.

But that's part of the problem. Likely wasn't a one person call. If someone in the back wanted it called off or JD pulled from the match, they would've told the ref and the call would be made. But doesn't seem like anyone views it that way.

The Matt Hardy situation you could see he was effected, JD wrestled the rest of the match as normal. The more we learn about the effects the more I support protecting guys from themselves if you can tell something’s off, but if there were no signs of a concussion or an injury at all I don’t see the problem letting him continue.

The early part of that tag match reminded me of the old days (aka the 00s) when WWE would be in venues build in the 90s, 80s or earlier and they had poor ventilation/fans so anyone with big pyros would just lead to smoke covering the ring for half the match.

Doesn't help that lots of their depth aren't even on the shows for matches or in ring promos.

But at the same time, Raw and SD are the same length.

Netflix after the fact cuts out any sort of break times, so Raw each week has been 2 hours and SD has been 2 hours and 5 minutes. Not entirely horrible, but they should do a better job at times to fill the slots. I haven't felt that SD has dragged so much, but it's definitely not worth being as long as it is if we have a long show and so many people on that roster aren't on it. Probably why it'll go back to 2 hours in a few months anyways. But starting next week it should obviously get better with RTWM season and the regulars appearing.
