From a fan perspective in the arena last night, was a pretty good show. Didn't feel too much different from when they were on USA Network. It does help they do stuff in between where the actual breaks are as they don't turn the lights down in the arena as much. A few notes......
- Arena was basically sold out. Merchandise lines were long and by the end of the show all the Jey Uso orange shirts and glasses were sold out. They had a good mix of talent merchandise available, and as usual overpriced which is why I stick to buying my stuff online.
- Crowd was hyped for most of the night, were interested in everything that was going on. At one point, Pat was doing his thing talking to the crowd and he started talking to Grayson & Theory, they ran a bit long and was cut off by the lights being shut off before they came back on TV. Pat at one point ran off to go to the bathroom I assume.
- New Day heat is real, they would not let them talk. Really wish WWE would start doing something with them, at this point they haven't really followed through with that great segment last year. On the topic of being real, The internet can whine all they want about Jey but the atmosphere of an entire arena, 15K+ yeeting in unity was insane. I looked up to the 200 section and they were yeeting with everyone. Crowd loves Jey, and that celebration when he beats Gunther at Mania is going to be even more insane.
- Roxanne got a good reaction, Liv & Raquel still get booed so again online fans may be tired of it but live crowds still give Judgment Day the heel reaction they are going for. Honestly my attention was on Liv the whole match, even better in person lol.I was trying to take a picture of Drake Maverick but Dakota Kai was also there for an interview, she was still in her gear so it made it seem I was trying to take a picture of her well you know, not Maverick lol.
- Cody Rhodes vs Carmelo Hayes was the dark match after RAW, fans were surprised to hear Cody was going to be there when Lillian announced it before RAW began. Since Punk or Rhea weren't there, I guess they brought Cody in to make up for it.
- They really need to bring a PLE back to North Carolina, crowds right now are the best I've seen them since I've moved to NC. Been to plenty of shows in Greensboro, Raleigh & Charlotte BEFORE the pandemic and crowds were nowhere close to where they are now. Then again, could just be the momentum WWE is on but still, feels like a lot cities where crowds used to be ok are now really good.
Also to the point of Cathy Kelly.... she pulls off the hot secretary or teacher every student had a crush on look very well.Comment

I'm not a fan of either of them but that Balor Rollins match was pretty awesome. The pedigree Balor gave Rollins may have been the best looking pedigree I've seenComment

Well....... Rock just announced he's returning on Smackdown. Could he announce that New Orleans is getting Mania next year? He's the host of Mania this year? Chamber related?

Yeah you might want to check the ticket prices now lol. This is going to lead to a ton of speculation heading into Friday Night....
1) This ends up like the first RAW on Netflix where we all think this has to do with him facing Cody or Roman, only for corporate TKO board member Dwayne Johnson to show up and say Wrestlemania 42 is happening in New Orleans and he heads back to Hollywood.
2) We know Cody is taking on Solo's Bloodline in a 6 Man Tag so could he confront Cody after the match? Will Roman suddenly show up to tease the Triple Threat or a match with Rock?
3) Rock just announces he's the host of WrestleMania?Comment

Rock clarified what he's going to do on Smackdown. He said he's going to give a big beautiful gift to the city of New Orleans(WM 42 Announcement likely) and mess up someone's life with final boss gospel.
Unless it's Cody Rhodes related, he's not doing Mania.Comment

Well things just got interesting.... Rock just posted a picture of the Rolex Cody gave him after Mania last year. Saying "It's Time." Also WWE is doing a post show pconference.... something big is happening.

Can't wait to hear the The Rock say the same stuff and curse entirely too much because he don't know how to speak anymore without it, all while half of what he is saying is bleeped out.

Uh... Sami you might want to call the police. If we see the second half of this on Smackdown where Owens invaded Sami's house to attack him, that would be amazing.

Nick Aldis informed Cody that he's been removed from the Six Man Tag Match. Aldis informed him that it came from the Final Boss, and that Rock wants to see Cody in the ring.
