They're definitely going to do Orton vs Cody, especially after teasing it yesterday.
Orton vs Cena is more likely. I don't see them doing the big turn at the Chamber just to have him lose Mania.

But he also said he's winning and retiring as champ, which makes it sound like his new plan is retiring at WM if he wins.

Cena vs Orton one more time would be great to see. I don't know if Orton beating Cena makes sense if Cena just won the title, but Orton winning 15 should happen sooner rather than later.

And Cena said he wants to win 17 to shake the hand of the man who wins 18.

Orton imo should get at least 16.

Why TF are Kayden and Katana still on my tv? Get this cringe garbage out of here. And take Yawn Stroman with you. What the hell kind of terrible episode is this only 2 weeks from Mania?

I think this would be a good fatal 4 way at WM

Dom pins Finn so Bron loses the title without being beat, Penta post WM eventually teams up with Fenix, and Dom pinning Finn sets up a split the Raw after WM where they kick Finn out of the Judgment Day (HBK to NWO Booker T style where the new member comes in and takes Finn out).

This is the Cena we've been waiting for.... hot damn. Screw you Vince for not giving us this Cena 10-15 years earlier.

Hot Damn.... Cody spitting too. “Can you say the same, or was it one guy in the office who chose you who’s not here anymore and we don’t talk about.”

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Heel Austin only happened because Austin wanted to be a heel. Even when it failed the first time he still insisted on it happening during the invasion.

A triple fail when you add in the fact that the WHAT was supposed to be a heelish move on his part to mock people he's talking to, acting like he can't hear them/understand what they're trying to get at.

But Cena definitely should've been a heel so long ago. Glad we at least got to see it for a short time.

Yeah I'm just going to say it. RAW being pushed back two weeks is the reason why the build to Mania has felt so lackluster. RAW right now really feels like the Road to WrestleMania as feuds are heating up, we are getting segments we would have gotten sooner if Mania was this weekend and not two weeks back. I know Mania is one week sooner next year, but it really needs to be back at the end of March, first week of April.

For all the hate the 3 events before WM sometimes got, especially that 3rd event, this was the one year it was needed.

Rumble being February, EC being March, meant no need for another event before WM, but they should've had more drawn out stories for some feuds than a slow burn/wait.

This was absolutely a trial year to see if WM at different times works.

I don't think it'll work being later since end of April/May you have baseball fully back and NHL/NBA playoffs are on.

Early April is probably best. Don't think the rumble is going to change at all, it'll stay the weekend before the SB, and then the chamber would be early March.

I think they need to have a Saturday's Night Main Event in March as the final show for the build to Mania. The one we got the week before the Rumble should be in March. So Rumble in January, Chamber in February and SNME in March as the last big show before Mania.

That Cody/Cena promo was good. It reminded me of Eminem's final rap battle in the movie 8 Mile. Instead of letting the opponent throw jabs at himself, Cody decided to do it to himself. Both wrestlers had great material to deliver and I feel like Cody won but we have seen how powerful Cena can be on the mic. And I was wondering if it will get physical so that little attempt was a nice way to see them try to add more fuel to the match.

I enjoyed the main event match between Iyo and Ripley. Its always a gimmick to have another superstar be a ref so of course there were going to be stuff that involves them. I have no problem with the finish because they are doing everything they can to get Ripley into the match. Fans do continue to respond to her. Gunther destroying Jimmy Uso was a good reminder to us that Gunther can be ruthless. I can't believe they had him playing a "face" role in certain feuds still. And I lost count of all the times AJ Styles been face or heel. But the fans dont want to cheer Logan Paul so AJ Styles is the face. The buildup to their feud has been good.

                          No more afternoon WWE.

I was liking the way it was before, just being able to watch the second I can and skip whatever I want. Now it's back to the nighttime shows that end around 11 ET.

They should have started their Europe tour a week later, so RAW airs in the afternoon on Monday of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game.

I agree, I enjoyed watching it in the afternoon. Wonder if they would consider a 7pm-9:30pm or 10PM if needed, anything to make it end earlier and you basically get a head start on Monday Night Football and end by halftime of the game.

SD will go back to 2 hours within the next month or two I believe so that part is fine, and I'm not hating Raw being 2.5 hours, it feels much better than the 3 hour ones, but 7 start would feel a bit better, but probably more a case of "eastern time bias" where it suits here more, but west coast would hate it even more. Although Europe would love 1 hour earlier too.

But given that Netflix doesn't have regular ads, I wonder if it would make sense for them to go earlier. It's not like 8pm starts are "more valuable" since you're not selling ad spots. And if anything, you're using WWE to attract sports, and sports usually start at 7 unless its those national primetime games and/or doubleheader.

If you run 7-10 and you get more global live viewers than 8-11,maybe you'd think about it?

I think CM Punk is obligated to appear at every Chicago wrestling show lol.

So Heyman asked Punk what the favor is, so apparently Punk has never told Paul the favor. He said he'll reveal the favor when Roman is there. So assuming Reigns shows up tonight as Heyman said he wasn't there.... yet. Guess we'll finally find out this massive favor that Punk keeps talking about.
