but Cena's heel promo delivery style feels off to me. I don't buy any of it for a second. Feels super unnatural and forced.

He's saying all the right things but it just doesn't come across as genuine. I wanted to give it a few promos to see if he found the feel for it but it's just "John Cena plays a bad guy".

I don't know why John just doesn't do his promos in his real voice, lol. He has always done this "WWE Superstar, John Cena" voice, and it drives me crazy!


Just listen to his interviews with Pat or even watch back 2003-2005.


What said above is so true, it's not genuine. His WWE character can't be a heel. Real John can be.

It's ****ing insufferable. Absolutely insufferable. All of it. His speaking style over the years (similar to when he would get on the mic and do this RAW PREVIEW "rundown" type promo voice), the "reasoning" for this turn---everything. And it's not a "oh he's a heel you're supposed to hate him" thing. No. Again, we're all smarter than that.

Don't care about that "feud" in the slightest much like I don't care about any of this Cena **** especially as presented but the advice I'd give is lean more into Orton having been super evil and now a face, and now Cena being the exact opposite progression.

Glad I didn't go to this show. The prices were astronomical even to the last hour or two before showtime. Hundreds of dollars per ticket. I'm sorry, no.

Zelina beating Chelsea seems....absolutely criminal. She parlayed the win last week into an immediate title shot this week *and* won? Actually feel bad for Mia Yim. She busted her *** way more "within the confines of the feud the last couple months."

Fiancee had a fun idea for Chelsea. She should encounter issues with REAL ID requirements and they should show her having trouble getting an appointment, not being able to travel, have some remote skit at TSA and the DMV, etc. Would be ****ing great.

Drew/Knight solid. Fatu is amazing.

Dont care about Nia. Thought we were done with that ****. Really don't care to see that again.

Main event was pretty remarkable. If they did that on the WM card and got rid of some of the fluff, that would have made the show that much better.

Miz speaking the truth. Always does. He's so awesome. I really don't know what Black offers. I like him and his theme but along with Rusev, what room do they have for these guys when they already had trouble making room for the guys they already had?

All in all, Raw was way better this week.

He says he wants to leave with the title to "ruin wwe", because they'll have to make a new title and "start over", but when Punk did it they just kept the lineage but had a replica title given to the champ.

In kayfabe, what's stopping them from just making a new design but keeping the lineage?

And even if he leaves and the actual wwe championship lineage went with him, how did that mean Orton has to "start at 1" when the world Heavyweight title also counts as a world title....Orton could get to 18 without even winning a single wwe title.

I think you're reading in to it too much. He's not retiring as champ so none of the starting over stuff really matters

Seth teases Sami either joins his group or becomes an enemy (or just leaves Raw and goes to SD)......

First Lillian messes up months back and now McAfee calling her Rosanne Perez. Better get her name right. But Cole also says she's representing NXT. So is she not part of the main roster? She has nothing left to do in NXT but isn't part of the main roster so what's going on?

Are they just holding off for the draft to "officially" move her and others over?

Wow, Heyman pulls some strings and tells Sami that if he moves to SmackDown, he immediately becomes the #1 contender to the WWE title.

(I could see a path where Sami DOES choose SD, but Aldis says he was never approached by Heyman or Rollins with that offer)

That's what the format of these shows has become.

Breaks, fillers, recaps, constantly highlighting which city they're in and the next big PLE.

The format of the shows since going to Netflix hasn't been great, and it's as if nobody in WWE is aware of any of it. Either that or Netflix really doesn't know how to format the shows (and obviously don't care about any part of their deal with WWE other than live viewing).

For the first 3 and half-ish months, I never got a single ad. I was seeing all the extra stuff

For the past 3 weeks or so, I've been getting all the commercials.

I never changed my subscription or anything. Kind of annoying, but oh well.

Bron with a whole different presence having Heyman in his entrance.

Must be a US specific thing.

Internationally you either get:
1. Live break content (if you're watching live)

2. Skipped breaks (if you're watching on a delay)

3. "We'll be right back" screen (during NXT/SD when USA has TV ad breaks)

Sucks to not get break content when not watching live, but it does allow me to just go for the cheapest Netflix subscription since there's no difference in that and the premium one when it comes to watching WWE.
