WWE has confirmed Brock Lesnar will appear on two episodes of Smackdown in September. September 12th & 19th, and him being on the episode on the 19th basically confirms the rumored PLE taking place to counter AEW All Out on Saturday September 20th.

      Eh OK.

So we should have Jade slam her through a car to write her off?

        That's what I would've liked instead.

I like when they use Storylines to write people off for real reasons. They're gonna be gone from tv anyways, why not just do something big?

I remember when Regal got suspended for failing the wellness test, they had HHH basically kill him to write him off for a month or two.

Have Naomi come back for a week, but the end of the show we find her taken out. It starts the "who attacked Naomi" story, but Jade just reveals it from the start that it was her.

Yup. I miss that too. Instead of knowing everything all the time. Just use it in story.

So I guess there was a trade that saw LA Knight go to RAW and Sami Zayn go to Smackdown. Sami tells Solo he is now officially on the Smackdown brand.

Joe Tessitore says Naomi will be on RAW and we'll hear from her. Then an ad for RAW said Naomi will be there to sound off on the state of the Women's World Championship. So... pregnancy announcement on RAW?

I know it airs on USA Network, but it's funny seeing SD on Netflix here and they have a Hulu ad in the ring.

I don't want to put it out there but you know it'll happen sooner than we think, but I could see wwe doing digital ads one day like we see in hockey and baseball (and I think some teams in basketball too?). So the ring mat for the fans can be whatever, but the ads change depending on the market (for instance, US audiences could get Hulu, Peacock or whatever, but the same broadcast internationally could be Netflix ads or global company ads)

I like that instead of just randomly sending guys to different shows and ignoring the brand split.

I wouldn't mind trades instead of a draft, since they're seemingly doing away with the draft? This is only the 2nd time ever in the brand extension era we might have a year with no draft.

Yeah, just shuffle it if you want. Don't even have to make it official. If you wanna incorporate it into story, sure.

The best thing would be to just have people show up whenever and wherever. Kinda makes things more intriguing and necessary to watch.

Tonight's Smackdown could have been any Smackdown ever. Drew's promo and the Hayes/Miz vs Fraxiom match were highlights.

The problem with people showing up wherever and whenever is the fact that we'll for sure start seeing people appearing twice a week which will make things get stale so quickly. That's what made the "supershow era" so weak.

Smackdown is just so dull now.

And god, now we're dragging Sami and Jimmy back into Bloodline stuff. The MFTs are like turning WCW on to watch the nWo and getting this

I get Cena wants his only appearance in Boston to be his final match, but they knew Cody was filming after Summerslam so Smackdown is feeling lifeless without a top guy there. Hell Drew did just a promo, not even a match.

I don't think it *has* to. No law there saying you can't write sensibly and intelligently and interestingly?

Some stars have pulled double duty lately. Like Chelsea on NXT and Smackdown.

Take a page from NXT. They had the D'angelo Family finish a at the very end of the show a couple weeks ago and haven't mentioned it since. Build some intrigue. Make people wonder.

                          Gee whiz.

A Rhea/Iyo vs Charlotte/Alexa match for the Women's Tag Team Championship would be absolute killer.

You know, Rhea has a point. I know Iyo said she wanted to do it by herself but the match was over and she won. So why didn't Asuka and Kairi come out AFTER the match to help? Ok so a Rhea/Iyo vs Asuka/Kairi tag team match would also be killer.

                              Heyman went there.

"In the name of the late Tommy Dreamer....I know he's not dead yet but he should be!"

Never forget, Dreamer almost killed Heyman on tv at WM17.

Congrats to Naomi & Big Jim! Also liked how she still heeled it up even before leaving lol. 9 months from now is May 2026, so likely 2027 Women's Rumble return.
