I have no desire to see AJ. Haven't seen her in a decade nor do I give a flying **** about anything involving her. I actually hate all these mixed tag things.

Segment was good though.

AJ vs Dom better main event Raw. The crowd will be chanting all match long.Sami getting the world title win at WM really would be a special moment. Maybe they even do "Backlash Montreal" to follow it (similar to how they had Backlash in Edmonton right after Benoit won the title at WM20)?

I even said the idea of a Mania in Montreal being built around Sami winning the World Title with Kevin Owens celebrating with Sami to close out Night 2 would be amazing. I like your idea of Backlash Montreal, would be huge if Sami walks into that show as World Champion.

Fans chanting for a good 5 minutes for AJ Styles. If they didn't get cut off, they probably would've gone on all night! This crowd alone deserves AJ Styles retirement match.

Bad booking decision not having Styles win the IC Championship in the main event. Just ending it The Vision standing tall once again...... meh. That Paris Crowd deserved a much better ending to the weekend of shows.

WWE has the chance to do the most R-Truth thing with AJ Lee's return. Punk interrupts Seth & Becky does a promo. Then says he didn't come alone, AJ.... Styles comes out hyped to be teaming with Punk. Then Punk tells him how awkward it is because he's not the AJ fans were talking about.... then Styles hits a "My bad, that's on me" and leaves. Then AJ Lee's music hits.

They should have Truth do a segment with Styles being like "The crowd loves you! They're chanting AJ! AJ! They want you to be CM Punks partner! I didn't know you guys were even married! Mazel tov."

Then he just walks away.

But they need to troll the crowd on Friday. Everyone's expecting AJ to show up, but that doesn't mean you can't tease the crowd beforehand.

If Punks in the ring, maybe he starts talking about needing backup to face Becky and right when he's about to reveal his partner, the lights go out for a split second and he gets interrupted by Nia (who volunteers to be Punks partner since who better to face Becky than the woman who broke her nose).

Fans get mad and start booing Nia which sets up AJs actual apprarance to get even more of a pop (maybe even gets physical and kicks Nia out of the ring).

Also, I would love to see a Becky "pipebomb" done on AJ/Punk. Like how Cena did one as a throwback to the Punk one, maybe Becky does one as a throwback to AJs one she did on the Total Divas.

Cole and Graves are the new SD announce team "for the next few months". Is this because Joe has other jobs to do so he can't do SD (but he can do Raw?)

And Cole/Graves probably until McAfee returns in January?

This is Cenas last ever Smackdown?! You'd think they'd have hyped that fact up way more than this! Would've been nicer to have his final SD be later in the year, not all the way at the start of September.

Cena hits a GTS in Chicago and fans are mad he didn't win. What a time we're in. Cena hitting the angle slam, GTS and a spear in this match. You can tell Cena called an audible and went for an RKO because the fans were calling for it. Lesnar returns! Cena vs Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.

Even Cole and Graves couldn't hold their excitement in when seeing Becky show up because they know who/what's gonna happen.

Pretty shocked she actually came back, TBH. Even more than Punk cause it seemed like she was content without pro wrestling.

This is definitely the biggest return in women's division history in any era.

The crazy thing about her is that she never seemed like a Punk or Bret where you can't imagine her ever coming back, you always hoped one day she'd be back but also wouldn't be surprised if she didn't come back either.

I hope she's back for more than this one match. So much potential across the entire roster for feuds. Becky, Bayley, Roxanne, Alexa and more!

She was truly ahead of her time and now we get to see her compete in the modern women's division that wouldn't have been possible without the likes of her or Paige. They were the only bright spots on the main roster women's division for quite some time.

Sounds like Cole/Graves could be the Raw AND SD commentary team going forward. Seems like a weird decision. People speculating perhaps Wade's comments about Nikki which led to her calling him out on her podcast could have something to do with it, though I don't think it does, but she definitely blew it up for no good reason (she got mad that Wade was "ripping on her era" because he said that the level of competition in WWE today in the women's division is miles ahead of the divas era)

At least now Punk doesn't have to get asked by the women's roster when she's coming back anymore lol. I wouldn't rule out a Paige return either, she seems happy right now at least according to her social media but they do got that Europe tour before the Rumble next year. If her personal life is fine then I could see them bringing her back. Once they don't have any drama/baggage with her coming back then I don't see any issue having her back. And the current era has talent competing less frequently so that type of workload could work for her too if she's only competing once or twice a month.
