LOL, AEW Marks are so easily amused. Chanting "Fight Forever" when not much has happened so far. Too early on in the match for it.

I don’t see how Hook losing to Jericho accomplishes anything at all.

Please tell me that Danielson's injury is a storyline, hopefully he didn't hurt his neck again.

Worth noting that by the time WWE sees these guys as part time/nostalgia acts, they'd already leaned heavily into them for a decade.

It's not that they couldn't find more for guys to do, it's what can they do with them that'd be fresh?

I'm curious, though, if he has or will have regrets in the long run. Sure, he gets creative freedom, but at what cost? A locker room that has the maturity and direction of a blind child because its owner can't or won't find the testicular fortitude to steer the ship with any resemblance of needed power and control.
I'd bet on no regrets. If this was his initial comeback run and he wanted to prove something then sure, but he had that big return in WWE. Now he's just having fun with Christian to close things out his way.

The level of smarm on Jack Perry's face during that reveal... I'm kind of here for it.

It is heartbreaking how AEW can knock it out of the park with their PPV events yet have weekly shows that leave me questioning what is actually happening backstage in the minds of creative. I’ll give it to TK, he knows how to put on a hell of an event when it’s something outside of the routine, weekly grind.

They grew too quickly, going from 2 hours a week to 5. If they just had Dynamite every week things would be so much simpler. But, just like USA wanted 3 hours of Raw, WBD wanted more content for more money. And that money trumps everything.

You’re right. The best move would be to scratch Rampage and continue doing Dark shows on YouTube. That’s just for starters.

No Edge and his weird “3 year cut all the hair off her doll” hair cut was taking up space for more interesting/younger guys in WWE. There was nothing left for him to do there. Going to rejoin Christian for a final run was the move.

Will Osprey was asked about Triple H's comments during the Media Scrum basically saying he's done with it and just wants to promote AEW. Then made a really stupid comment saying he doesn't mess with people "below him."

Ah yes, The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins are below Osprey. How dare Triple H make record profits with them when he could have done it with Osprey.

He said that right after saying he was the best wrestler in the world. It was more a self-confident pro-Ospreay statement than anything else.

First half of the ppv was alright, but those final 3 matches were great. Bucks winning the title as the heel evps while Jack Perry helps them win was great.

And Swerve finally winning the title! Crazy how far he came in a year. In WWE leading Hit Row that still just felt like he'd be a mid card champ at best. Go to AEW and just paired with Keith Lee and then feuding with him, and the whole Mogul Embassy thing where the guys around him didn't elevate him much at all.

But that feud with Hangman really flipped the switch and launched him on this path into one of AEWs top guys.

As for the whole HHH/Ospreay stuff, I agree with both sides, but don't agree with Ospreay taking such offense when HHH clearly wasn't singling anyone out.

A boss of a company obviously will be "all about the grind" and want people who want to work as much as possible. An employee will obviously prefer getting paid as much as possible while working less, and if presented with comparable salaries while having a drastic difference in schedule, who wouldn't take the better schedule?
