Yeah, I'm getting it. I loved last year's even though the career mode was kind of unpolished. It's one of the best games to play with a bunch of buddies when everyone has their own created character. I wonder how up to date the rosters will be. Will Ray Mysterio Jr. be in there? Will Stone Cold be a regular guy or will you have to unlock him? Either way, I'm getting the game.

I'm definitly buying it. I was completely pumped for it earlier, but after seeing some gameplay movies today I don't care as much. The gameplay looks the same as last years

Yes I'm getting it. After reading the comprehensive preview of the career mode at IGN I'm sold on this game.

I too will be getting SYM. Me and my bro always had awesome matches in the last Smackdown, and listening to the improvements, this is a no brainer for me. Career mode sounds amazing as well.

Although I hate wrestling, I enjoy playing certain wrestling games. I have always disliked the Smackdown series and have loved the WM2K/No Mercy engine. If I ever buy a wrestling game again, it will be with the WM2K/No Mercy engine.

I hate wrestling nowadays myself, but I have always loved wrestling games. I will be picking up LOW 2, SD :SYM, and just about any other wrestling game that is made for the ps2. Those wrestling games are really fun.

All I can say about this is it WILL be the Madden of Wrestling.

LOW 2 looks to be on par with NFL 2k3 in comparison.

Good year for wrestling game fans.

I wish THQ would make another game based off of the WM2K/No Mercy engine, but I may have to get this year's Smackdown, even though I hated last years...guess I'll have to rent it I never played the WMX8 on Gamecube but heard mixed reviews for it. I always hated how in Smackdown 2 that when fighting a Hell in a Cell match you got up way too quickly after being knocked off the top of it. Has this changed in the later games?

It looks like the Def Jam game is using a modified version of the N64/No Mercy engine. I think I will be getting that one instead.
