    Thoughts after Backlash

Just wanted to say that this is the first pay-per-view I've gotten in a while and was interested in what people Thought of it.

Personally, it wasn't that bad considering I'm not real up to date on the storylines anymore.

I thought the Jericho/Benjamin match was ok. Lot's of exciting action but some of the moves seemed off. I don't know why but it seemed like they weren't very cohesive. That being said I still thought it was a good fun match.

Edge & Benoit was good until the whole brick thing. Let me just say I think that too many matches end with some kind of intereference or something illegal that gives someone the win. It is one of the things that made me lose interest in WCW when it was still good. Matches couldn't be won straight up.

The Hogan match was great for me. I still love to see Hogan even though he can't move like he used too. And I admit he didn't do too much moving back in the day. I guess that's what I miss most about wrestling nowadays. There's not enough character. Lot's of guys try but they just don't pull it off.
But Hogan did what I expected and even if it's not really his last match (which it may not be after that whole HBK thing as they were leaving) it was still worth seeing.

Triple H/Batista was pretty good. I thought he was gonna kick out of Batista's finisher. But there is another issue where other outside stuff affected the entire match. The match was decent though.

    Overall I'd give it a B-.

    Anyone else?

it was a good show, and most if not all the matches were very good. I would give it a B to B+.

It was a last man standing match there's no DQ so it was legal.

I didn't even get it because I predicted what would happen in each and every match. I knew the WWE would basically kill off Hassan's push, and would continue to put Batista and Edge over. Just didn't sound like a good PPV on paper.

I forgot about the last man standing thing not having a DQ but I will still say that outside influence affect way too many matches in my opinion.

As far as the Hogan thing, it looked like HBK was saying just one more match to Hogan again. It wouldn't surprise me if the WWE ran out Hogan a few more times.

Also I didn't think they killed Hassan with that match. Davari is the one who got his *** kicked for the most part.

And, did anyone see the size of Hogan's knee braces. Besides the fact that he didn't do the leg drop. He's really got some issues, healthwise it looks like.

I watched the webcast of it on my computer for a change to see how it was. You guys forgot to mention one of the best parts of the night when viscera turned on trish and did his splash on trish. Now that was hilarious, the crowd and him were pumped up after that. And as he's walking out you could here him say "I don't need that bitch." Very funny. It would have been interesting if he would have one how to see how the storyline would have went. The match though was actually better than I thought it would be. Vis pulled off some pretty good moves on Kane. How bout the hollywood kiss between lita and kane. They were so into it, lol.

Shelton pulled off some great stuff in his match. He can do some things in the ring that no one else can do. I loved when he jumped up on the top rope and superplexed jericho.

HHH/Batista was definately a better match than in XXI.

BTW, who won the tag match? I had to walk the dog, he was whining his *** off.

Hbk and Hogan won the tag match when Hogan pinned Davari after a superkick by Michaels.

Personally I'm very happy that happened, Hassan in my opinion has done nothing to deserve a push, I can't stand that guy and did'nt expect hogan to lose his supposed "last match"

That's the point, he's a heel, you aren't supposed to like him.

I personally enjoy Hassan and Daivari. I think their gimmick is great. Hassan will be around for awhile I have a feeling.

I'm in the same boat, I think Hassan's great on the mic, especially for a relatively new guy...he's getting great heel heat, and Raw really could use another solid heel, so this push makes sense.

You guys know how I feel about Hassan, he's the freshest character in a long time IMO. I'm also a huge Christan mark since the days of the Edge/Christian tag team, so glad to see him getting a push as well. But back to Hassan, read a review of the PPV and I guess at one point in the tag match the crowd chanted "USA, USA, USA" and some guy in one of the front rows held up a sign that read "But they are from the USA"

                        That's classic stuff! LOL

Hurricane and Rosey. Not who I thought would win it. I figured La Resistance would get another run.

Yeah that always makes me laugh when people start chanting USA when these guys from from the states. Its like how dumb can you be but its funny as hell though. I agree that it is nice for christian to get a little push. He surely has long paid his dues in the WWE and now they are giving him a chance to get on a run so to speak. I like it because that is how he roll's.
