Marcus Stephenson tweeted that another patch will be on the way soon. I really hope this patch doesn't screw up sliders again. Lol

*rolling eyes* I hope not. We've come a long way with our edits. If it does change, hopefully it's for the better.

Is anyone going to re-rate Booker T? Looking to use him more in universe mode.

So here is what I did. Took the "average sliders"....put them on Legend. Lowered the AI Strike and Grapple SLIDERS to 4 clicks from the left.

Reversal Damage is OFF (this is increasing match length)

Using the ratings in the spreadsheet:

          Brock vs Roman (2 matches)
          - Brock won both matches....first match went 5-6 mins. Second match went 8 mins.

Roman vs Seth Rollins (2 matches)
          - Roman won the first match in 7 mins.
          - 2nd match was very epic, with a match length of 11 mins! Back and forth action and reversals even at 4.

What does this tell me? I think if you go LEGEND, you lower the AI Strike and AI Grapple sliders to 4 and it helps reduce the reversals. There will still be reversals, but the "Better" wrestler still manages to win.

Also, the match length seems to be based on how good each wrestler is. Roman and Seth are both rated 81 overall. Close in all ratings and their matches have lasted a long time. Yesterday, I watched a match go 12 mins....today, 11 mins, same guys.

Brock is rated better than Roman, and those matches only lasted 8 mins. Still good, short, but good in the sense that the "better" guy won, and match was quicker because more damage was dealt.

Roman Reings would never beat Lesnar. Reigns would beat Austin, the Rock, and Hogan in their prime.

I kid, I kid. Nice work.

Was wondering...Before the match did you set momentum to 'slow'? Because I think this will also lengthen matches, like for PPV and such....

Momentum is on normal. But like I said, I turned off reversal damage. I believe this helps prolong matches. Try the "average" sliders, but put the AI Strike and Grapple at 4 clicks.

Run a few CPU vs CPU matches and see what the match length is. I could have been lucky, but I think it's worth checking again.

Sounds good man...I just picked up the game so am lookin' forward to doing some tests and sharing some findings!

Lets hope the patch doesn't muck things up! LOL!

The problem with reversal damage off is they don't sell anything.

On a not so positve note...I heard over at the 2ksports forums that the individual wrestler ratings for reversals ONLY apply if that wrestler is HUM controlled. The sliders are what determine the CPU reversals, which explains why a jobber is still reversing moves with a "1" rating. Looks like 2k dropped the ball again.

Now I wonder what other ratings don't matter....?

Maybe I'm not clear on what you mean by "selling" in a videogame, but if the reversals are only determined by a slider and not ratings, I don't want a jobber "selling" too much and create unrealistic outcomes.

With reversal damage off they pop right back up. They don't sell the move as in staying down long enough to perform a ground grapple. If your goal is just to extend the length of the matches, it does the trick. Just makes the game less realistic. Because the move doesn't inflict any damage it looks weird when you hit a huge ddt reversal and the opponent just pops right up.
                              Sell:
To react to an opponent's attacks in a manner that suggests to the audience that the attacks hurt

NXT DLC is next. Are you doing the re-rates for that, Steve? I'm really only interested in JBL's rating though.
