One quick thing man....Have you given a review of Darren Young and Batista (the most recent version of himself, not the Evolution version)?
For some reason, I put them in a match and Young absolutely dominated Batista (CPU vs CPU)....I used your edits and sliders from Editors Corner. Unfortunately, I thought I was recording it via twitch, but apparently I wasn't....Just wanted to make you aware and get your thoughts. And it may have been just an anomaly of some sort.

Here are some matches with your edits and sliders having Darren Young face off with Batista (CPU vs CPU) - - >
*Number of Reversals by Darren Young: 4
Batista Wins using Batista Bomb
Note: Set Momentum as FAST
*Number of Reversals by Darren Young: 5
Batista Wins on Spine Buster
Note: Set Momentum as NORMAL
*Number of Reversals by Darren Young: 4
Batista Wins on Spine Buster
Note: Set Momentum as NORMAL
Overall, I'm really liking the results with Batista winning all the matches under 4 or 5 minutes each time....As mentioned throughout the thread, 'the jobber' gets more reversals than what is realistic which leads to more offense for them during matches. Would have liked to have seen Batista absolute destroy Young, but it was mostly back and forth matches with Batista pulling away at the end....Another thing I noticed (and not sure can be fixed) is that Batista always went for the pin after his signature, spine buster rather than moving into doing his Batista Bomb....Only 1 match above had him winning using his finisher and the match was se on Fast momentum. Not sure if the momentum speed had anything to do with this.
Just wanted to share this with the community! Cheers!
Play a match against yourself (no one contols the other wrestler). Attack the wrestler and even with no one controlling him, he'll reverse your move.Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
Unfortunately, the only time the reversal ratings come into play is if that wrestler is HUM controlled. Otherwise, it's the slider that determine the reversals. Poor design in my opinion. I created a wrestler with all 1's for each rating, and he still reversed. Also, the pattern is usually every 3-4 moves the cpu will reverse.

The great news is that your edits w/ sliders for Hum vs. CPU are awesome thus far! Have been having great matches where I will get my arse handed to me by Batista (I play as the jobber, Darren Young for testing purposes) and for me to get a reversal is quite difficult! The only issue I see thus far is that after Batista pulls off his signature....he goes for the pin and since I suck at getting out of pins, it usually ends as a win! But I think if I did get out of the pin, the Batista Bomb would end things....
In any case...great stuff!Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
I have a favor to ask! If you guys could test the speed ratings.....movement speed....strike speed...grapple speed.
I have a theory that by reducing these, it could compensate for the reversal issue. Plus, I've seen some wrestlers with speeds in the 90s which makes them like the "Flash"! Lowering these enough without losing the realism, will in theory, prolong matches as well.
So, if you guys can test those out for me that would be great. We definitely don't want to lower or adjust so much that it becomes arcade.
Being at work makes it hard to test and adjust ratings!
Also, we can't really put rating numbers in categories. Example...80 - 100 for main eventers on damage recovery. Why? Because based on the wrestler build, his stats might get maxed out at a mid carder level, even though he is upper card.Last edited by Steven547; 03-19-2015, 01:04 PM.Comment

Now that you mentioned, strike speed, that also could be a possibility, since reverses come via grapples and strikes....
As for movement speed...hmmm...not particularly sure b/c reducing that could get 'jobbers' like Darren Young who are quite agile and quick around the ring to become the next coming of the 'Big Slow'! LOLL! But heck...I'm no sliders guru...
In any case...look forward to testing this possibility after my day-long, March Madness session! Spring break is coming to a close and back to the school grind!Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
This is an absolutely GREAT suggestion my friend....Its wierd that you mentioned this b/c last night as I was playing along with seeing the different statistical categories, I was thinking...what if you adjust specifically, grapple speed? Maybe that would slow down the 'jobbers' from being able to get their reversal action in....
Now that you mentioned, strike speed, that also could be a possibility, since reverses come via grapples and strikes....

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
Ah ok...I saw Darren Young on your Editor's Corner thread...He may not have been adjusted to your ratings scale. Please do let me know when you have him re-rated so I can re-run the test and share on Twitch!Comment

These edits seem awesome but it's tedious to do all the edits. I know it will be well worth it once I finish though. Props to everyone's hard work with the rerat ings.Comment

They are tedious coming up with these! Haha. If 2K had a roster share it would be fantastic! But, it's all worth it in the end.Comment

Were you able to test out the 'grapple speed', 'movement speed', & 'strike speed' hypothesis? If so...how were the results?Comment
