Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
Steven i was rerating some things last night n i saw the hit point thing, each superstar has the same which makes no sense but u change where each percentage is. Now each superstar has different head body arm and leg durability ratings snd different percentages of hit points in each part. I remember last year some reraters did 25% for each body part to even it out but i dont remember if there were head leg arm body durability rstings also. Do you think there is a correlation between the two.Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
I used your ratings as a base to rate the legends and dlc the past two days and i just watched current daniel bryan vs 02 jericho and wow for a video game it was an awesoe match two finishers each it lasted about ten minutes and it was fast paced and high flying. Jericho ended up winning with a walls of jerichoComment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
Love the work you've been doing @steven I'm using ur rosters as my base and what I did was change everyone's dmg recovery to MAX and removed all abilities and I'm having some reall fun matches. I tend to play HUM vs CPU so if you have any tips on that play style and some things I should change to improve realistically in matches (ex make it so guys don't just stand there and stare at me) that would be hugeeee
Ps. I also changed a majority of the superstars move-sets to coencide with the superstars wrestling style which helped alotttt. (I'm lucky enough to have the network so spent some hours watching old matches lolol) thanks anyway for the base roster and the updates really did help the game for mee I'll be continuing to follow the good work!!Comment

I'll have a new update soon. I've been testing the reduction of arm power, leg power, grapple off, and running off. Some matches seem longer, but still stick to the logic that the better wrestler wins. Plus, I felt like we were getting too close to default attributes again. Lowering these by 15 each helps create more cushion to work with.
The move sets, i believe, are crucial. As I said before, a certain move might take longer to execute. This extra time gives the opponent time to reverse the move.
Adjusting everyones hit points to 25% each, might create more variety in move sets as well. Last year, the cpu always went for the lower HP rated body limb....eliminating certain moves.Comment

Thanks! Much appreciated!

Cool!! so lower each category to 25% and then lower arm power, leg power, grapple off, and running off by 15 points should help seems pretty logicalComment

Try that and see if you get more variety of moves...and who wins.Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
They never have. Even before the rerates, I never saw a wrestler climb the ropes. This has always been an issue with this series. Climbing the ropes is an AI thing, not ratings. I thought the last patch was supposed to address that, but i could be wrong.Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
Finally got some testing in and have to say I'm loving the changes Steven. Just played Adrian Neville vs. Adam Rose (Slow Momentum, using my sliders (reversal damage ON), 25% HP ratio across the board) and it was a solid back and forth 20 minute match with Neville winning with the Red Arrow. Great job. I might try and tweak my sliders to see if I can get the heel to work a bit longer, but these are pretty darn close to what I'm looking for.
UPDATE: Did another match with Undertaker vs. a custom Main Event caliber superstar that I created (same settings I had above) and my custom superstar won in 4 minutes after reversing a tombstone and hitting his sig and finisher on him consecutively. Not sure what happened there. May have to either lower my custom guy's stats or Taker's or both.Last edited by lknpk16; 03-28-2015, 12:49 PM.Comment

Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread
Here is what I've been doing. I reduced ALL offense attack rating by 15 each:
Arm and Leg Power.
Any grapple and running OFF
Foreign Obj and Env Off
The advantage of doing this, is that it creates more cushion for improvement for ratings, but keeping the match at a good length.
It's been working good and I do think matches are longer...at the same time, you don't lose the "better guy winning" hope.
Here is how I test two wrestlers:
I set up a Triple Threat match, with me controlling some random guy. The other two wrestlers are the ones I want to view stats. By doing this, the game displays the wrestlers HUD, which shows the stamina, damage recovery, and HP damage they take. It's a good method because you can see how Brock outlasts the "Jobbers", or you can see how even Brock and Roman Reigns are, etc.
When I'm done, I'll post the spreadsheet.
And Happy Wrestlemania Day!Comment
