I am so pissed.

I booked my show tonight for RAW and I booked a 6 woman match. Well when I went to watch the match it changed it into a 4-way match and 2 of the women weren't in the match.

The match ended but couldn't end without quitting because it didn't have all of the participants.

So I went out and and just simmed the match. Well the next match was supposed to be a singles match between Ryder and Corbin but for some reason Naomi and Emma were in the ring and it was now an intergender fatal 4-way.

So I quit the match and went out and simmed that match as well. I started my US Championship match (after having a promo). After the challenger came in the match, low and behold Emma showed up again and all of a sudden it was an intergender Triple Threat match.

This is pissing me off so much as now, not only is it booking extra matches but now its changing my matches on the show after it is booked.

I really hope the patch comes out soon. They sent it to Sony already but this is ridiculous.


So the tag match after simming 3 straight matches worked properly. Hopefully I can get through the rest of the show but the manager from the previous match is at ringside for some reason...argghhhhhhh

SO I get to the main event World Title Match and it has 2 of the participants from the previous tag match PLUS the manager from the other match at ringside...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Man I know how you feel I had to sim some of my extra matches today. They gotta get this fixed and fast. I'll see how my SmackDown show goes or else I may just wait till the patch to continue. Cause I don't wanna get to my first PPV and have 10 matches because I added all these title matches.

I have no problems simming the extra matches. It really got to me today when I had things set up and it wouldn't even run my matches properly.

Like I said I had a 6-woman battle royal where only 4 women were in the match and it wouldn't end because the other two were never eliminated. Then I had Emma and Naomi (who weren't the two that didn't show up in the previous match) show up in a match between Ryder and Corbin and then Emma showed up in my US Championship Match and was even introduced.

Then I had a manager show up in multiple matches after the US Championship Match and then in my Main Event I had Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose who were in the tag match prior to it appear in the beginning of the match and participate.

Literally can't play the Universe because it changes my matches and puts random people in matches after it is booked. Didn't do it for the PPV but it did it for RAW for some reason.

Might try NXT tomorrow night.

Yeah you seem to have it worse than me. But i noticed on my card today i had matches that I didn't book so it was weird I'll say that. Hopefully patch comes to Xbox and PS4 at the same time. That's all I'm going to say.

I might start it over in a different save before getting to far and just sim to after Payback (since I dont really care about the title reigns in the games stuff anyway) and maybe things will work better when I try and redo RAW.

Still trying to get my roster split done anyway so its not that big of a deal. Trying to figure some things out without getting to overblown like I have done in the past.

I want to use a lot of CAW slots for alternate attires this year but still need a good roster.

Having troubles with having enough quality tag teams to split between two rosters.

I just started my 2K17 Universe after I was able to get all of the caws that I've been using. I've been running the same universe since WWE 13 and just continue on with every new game.

My shows are Raw, NXT and Smackdown. I did have a CWC show going on 2K16 with 18 cruiserweights, but I only have about 14 right now. When I fill the roster out, I'll have a CWC show as well.

Sucks you guys are having problems. I have yet to really run into anything.

I ran into one of those problems that makes me want to put the game back on the shelf.

It is time for Money in the Bank but of course the 6 competitors aren't the ones I want in the match (Titus O'Neal?), so I edit the show to put the proper people in there. Then I make the mistake of not double checking before electing to start the show and sure enough, I now have two MitB matches.

I haven't finished the PPV yet so I don't know what if any problems this will cause. To be safe I may keep redoing the match until the same guy wins both matches.

I didn't want to make a separate thread just for this so I thought I'd ask a Universe specific question in here.

What do all the PPV themes mean? There are the obvious ones like Royal Rumble and Survivor Series but how do I set up a PPV that is kind of generic? Like regular matches unless the rivalry calls for it?

Good news. I was able to start a separate game and sim through Payback and start with RAW and actually got through the show with the booked matches. Yes there were a bunch of extra ones added even after starting the show but I was able to actually record the show.

I am still having some troubles with getting my roster split done but I will be able to get going again soon. Trying to figure out a few more tag teams to bring in. I would like 8 per show (4 face/4 heel).

Also looking at my main/mid, mid/low, and women's rosters right now.

Should have a show and first part of draft up by Thursday night.

I like reading this thread to get an idea of how i want to run my universe mode. Only difficulty im having is deciding if i should turn contendership off for certain guys.

For example leaving someone like Ziggler in contendership for both Main title and Mid title opens up more fueds & better matches.

My contenders for the Main title are

AJ/Bray/Dean/Dolph/Orton/Cena

But it gets kind of boring knowing these guys are going to be facing each other week after week.

Just want to hear opinions on Contenderships & how you guys have yours set up
