I’ms still on 2K22 and enjoying it. Have it all roster edited so doing it again in a new game doesn’t sound fun.

Did they charge Universe mode at all? It seems more or less the same from what I see.

I’m all about legends so losing Flair and some other guys in 23 is a bummer. They added some cool guys too.

Personally I didn’t get 2k22 then got 23 one night after playing 2k18 and having a few too many drinks and I think Universe is barely changed since 20 to be honest. I don’t think it’s much better than 18. Until they make it better. This is my last Wwe purchase.

Steel city interactive and EA should take notes, this is exactly the type of sandbox mode that MMA and boxing needs in their games hands down!

Besides being able to dictate what cutscenes play out, Universe is largely the same as it was in '22

The issue for me is I’m looking for a living universe that has stuff happen on its own. I think it’s great they let people put in what scenes they want. What sucks is there is no toggle to switch it so you can’t see it or be basically have stuff just happen organically and be surprised. For example, it will show the match then the scenes pop up in the match screen and the match changes because it’s actually a rivalry scene where a guy gets jumped so now you already know it’s gonna happen.

I think they need to rebuild universe from ground up but they should have done it when when they took 2 years in between games and they did not change the base way the mode works. I don’t know when/if I’ll ever buy this game again. It always disappoints me even when I don’t get it for 3-4 years at a time.

Just finished Summerslam, some unexpected/unwanted results but I will run with it (the Main Event especially upset me).

Match 1: Drew McInytre defended his World Heavyweight Championship vs Bobby Lashley. In a surprise, Bronson Reed decided to cash in his MITB briefcase mid match. It however would turn out to be a bad decision as Drew McIntyre retained via pinfall.

Match 2: Jade Cargill defended her WWE Women's Championship vs Liv Morgan and easily won via pinfall.
Match 3: Jey Uso defeated Jimmy Uso in a last man standing match that went over an hour long.
Match 4: Imperium vs The OC to unify the tag team titles. Imperium are the Smackdown champions with OC being the RAW champions. The match however would not end up merging the titles as Imperium won via count out and both brands retain their champions.

Match 5: Gunther put his Intercontinental title on the line against The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. In what some say was the match the stole the show, Gunther ended up walking away with what is rightfully his as he retained his Intercontinental title.

Match 6: Tomasso Ciampa vs Edge in a loser leaves WWE, Extreme Rules match. In a very violent and bloody match, Tomasso Ciampa ended up defeating Edge who is no longer an active member of the WWE roster per the stipulation. The ending saw Ciampa put Edge through the announce table, rolling him back into the ring, sending Edge through another table in the corner, and then hitting the Fairy tale ending to send a fairy tale goodbye to Edge.

Match 7: Bayley retained her Women's World championship over Asuka with distractions from Damage Control.
Match 8: Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed Championship vs Kevin Owens. In a match that Reigns simply dominated, hitting 4 spears, and as many Superman punches, it was Kevin Owens who emerged victorious and the NEW Undisputed Champion.

I still do the 2K20. If anyone interested I can list what I'm doing and willing to see if anyone willing to add ideas.

Despite it being 2k20, I do try to have the story upto date (bloodline minus Solo. I still have Usos together)

Clash at the Castle PPV finished after a new draft to keep the Universe Mode fresh. Some unexpected/unwanted results occured but will run with it for now.

Match 1: Imperium defeated The OC in a tag team title unification bout.
Match 2: Bayley retained her Womens World Championship in an 8 women ladder match defeating Shotzi, Blair Davenport, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, and Gigi Dolin.

Match 3: Gunther defeated Sami Zayn to retain his Intercontinental title
Match 4: Chelsea Green and Piper Niven defeated Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn in a Women's Tag Team Title Unification bout

Match 5: Jade Cargill defeated Alexa Bliss to retain her WWE Womens Championship
Match 6: LA Knight defeated Jey Uso to retain his United States Title
Match 7: Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens to become the new WWE Undisputed Champion
Match 8: Drew McIntyre defeated Finn Balor to retain his World Heavyweight Championship

Hey guys, I’m thinking I’m going to get 2K24 and get into universe mode, it’ll be my first wrestling game since like 2K15 or something.

I just have a question about Universe Mode, curious if we as users have the ability to set/change every match.. whenever I watch videos it looks like the matches are automated depending on the “set tables?!?” setting..

Also, is there the ability for a non-brand split? If I just wanted all the roster to appear on both shows is that possible?

Yes to both questions. You have the ability to basically do whatever you want with the rosters , matches, shows and PLE’s.

Question for the WWE 2k veterans. I'm pretty new to the series, jumping on board with 2k23 (just purchased the early access version of 2k24 that has a major bug by the way. It pretty much wiped all early access packs and DLC it seems after full release, but that's another story).

Question is: Do all downloaded created fighters eventually show up in Universe mode? They appear to be on the overall roster, but I've never seen them show up in any matches within universe mode (I will admit I haven't made it too far into the later weeks/years of the universe, only the first one or two months If I'm not mistaken).

Anyway, they'll get a pass for the the 2k24 bug for the moment as the game is amazing. I'm jumping back into 2k23 Universe until it's fixed and curious about when the CAFs start showing up (Also, I'm figuring it will be the same in 2k24?). Thanks!

After downloading CAWs, you'll need to go into edit rosters within Universe Mode and add the CAWs to Raw, Smackdown, NXT, etc...

Ok tracking. Sheesh, I would've been waiting forever for them to show up without the branding? That's odd, so what about the vanilla roster? I've noticed there are plenty of out of the box legends, etc who aren't assigned a show/brand, do they not show up in universe either unless I manually assign a show to them as well?

Also, are there any other brands in the game like WWF or anything else to use (2k23 or 2k24), I noticed some empty show slots in 2k24 today, wonder if anything else can be added and how do I attain the other brands for my universe. Thanks again.
