Re: Anyone mess with "move tendencies?"
Either you have guys doing press slam finishers, or you have an entire match of eye rakes.
Until they address archetypes that people like Studd and Andre can have; where they are siiiiiiignificanly slower, and can barely have ANY lifting moves done to them, it'll always be like this.
Hey Hype/DC, do you know the actual threshold value for STRENGTH that will allow guys to NOT lift big guys?
MY CAW Don Muraco is at an 85 and he is still lifting Andre. :/Comment

It's necessary to sacrifice some very common moves like snapmare and russin leg sweeps but I think it's worth it.Boots..........To ASSES!!!!!!Comment

Or eliminate them from the Giants? If so, I don't mind the Giants doing them, I just don't want them done on THEM.Comment

So the only way to prevent Jim Brunzell from doing a leg sweep to Big John Studd is to remove it from the moveset...Boots..........To ASSES!!!!!!Comment

Re: Anyone mess with "move tendencies?"
Another thing, I'm 100% sure the game does moves not in a wrestler's moveset
I created a moveset for 97 Eddie Guerrero and I DIDN'T give him a Springboard Dropkick but he somehow pulled one off in a match. Not the first time I've seen the CPU do this.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

So you went in to the moveset and actually removed the move itself?
Maybe try keeping it as is, and just assign it to (forgot the terminology) but something like LOW CHANCE? (it's the click past LOW, which says "most likely will never use this move")
And then maybe set to "only once", along with END OF MATCH ONLY.
I'd be curious if that keeps it off the move list.
Maybe deleting it in the movesets causes some default something or other to kick in when you save?Comment

Re: Anyone mess with "move tendencies?"
Originally posted by DCI replaced the move with the Vaulting Body Press springboard move.
Not sure why he is still doing it.
What move in the moveset do you think is tied to "carrying?"
EDIT: Update, I simmed a tag match and changed all 4 wrestlers CARRY section to VERY LOW, and didn't see a single lift/carry the entire match. Hmmmmmm?
I think I'll go in and also change the ROPE REBOUND HIP TOSS to LOW and EARLY MATCH ONLY as well; because the AI seems to always go for a pin after a hiptoss, and I don't want the chance of that happening near the end of a match resulting in a pin.
These tendencies are certainly interesting and exciting.
EDIT: the pin attempt after every rope rebound hip toss is also very annoying. Ever notice?
I know there is a "carry" section, and it has 4 moves that come from the carry position; but I am looking to drastically cutdown on the initial lift, and walk to the corner/ropes. It happens just toooooooo much.
And sometimes as the very first move of the match. Ick.
I just selected all 4 moves in the "carry" section to VERY LOW. We'll see what that does.
Or am I missing a different section all together that can be tweaked?Comment
