New Ulm Legion's Shortstop Dylan Schreck was recently scouted at the Minnesota Legion State Tournament this weekend by a Minnesota Twins Scout. The Twins are showing serious interest in this 18 year old ballplayer who led New Ulm to a State Championship this past weekend. Schreck who batted .417 this past season with 2 HR and 32 RBI's, along with 28 Stolen bases, and was named to the All-Tourney Team. He went 13 for 19 in the State Tournament with 6 Stolen Bases and zero errors at Shortstop.Minnesota Wild

Shortstop Sensation has been invited to the Minnesota Twins Spring Training in Fort Myers, Florida. He will participate in the Twins Spring Training games and will be assessed by the Club. And at the end of the Spring Training season he may be offered a contract. He will then likely be sent to the Twins AA affiliate New Brition Rock Cats.Minnesota Wild

Schreck plays first spring training game
Dylan Schreck played in his first spring training game yesterday. he batted 3 times going 0-3. "It was a very cool expierience to play against players I looked up to for years like John Smoltz and David Ortiz". Schreck said after the game. He continues his Spring Training Tommarow against the Reds. He expects to be in the Lineup tommarow.Minnesota Wild

Schreck Raising some eyebrows
Dylan Schreck has now played in 10 Spring Training games for the Twins. He has picked up 11 hits in 31 at-bats and is batting .355 with 3 RBI's. The Twins are pleasantly suprised with his progression through Spring Training. The Twins (6-6) will continue their Spring Training Wednesday against the Orioles.Minnesota Wild
