Yup. I had DTV before as well. I talked to the Director of Corporate Communications this week. He admits it's a bad deal, and they've been trying to get out of it, but I don't believe they've tried hard enough.
Poor roster decisions, refusal to spend any money, etc, etc, I won't go in to it, but I have had enough of the Padres.
Growing up in North County, where we saw more Angels games on TV than Padres games, and having the Angels not much farther than going to Petco, has made me more and more of an Angel fan the last decade or so. Actually the last 15 years or so.
Anyway I sort of reached my boiling point (again, I went through this last year) and am furthering myself from them. I guess just frustration with the franchise, their business decisions and their baseball decisions and their absolute lack of caring for their fanbase. Particularly their loyal fanbase. (I was one of those 5,000 people going to Padre games during the firesale of 93).. They simply don't care about the fans.
