He Can Do It All!

Dempster vs Hudson

In the first inning the Cubs jumped out into a 3-0 lead as the Hudson couldn't get anything off of the middle as the plate.The Cubs played small ball baseball this inning to get this lead.

After the first inning the Cubs did not score again due to the success of the Braves pitching.

Jayson Heyward had a amazing first game as he went 2-4 1HR,1SB,2RBI,1R. McCann also homered to five the Braves their first official lead and then they never looked back.

Lilly vs Lowe

Throughout the first 6 innings this was a pitchers duel between Ted Lilly and Derrick Lowe.When Jayson Heyward(2)hit his second homer of the season they pulled Lilly.

After that score the team broke down,Then in the eighth inning Melky Cabrera hit a homer to tie the game up 3-3 only to give the Cubs a 5-3 lead in the top of the 9th.

In the 9th inning Chipper Jones crossed the plate with 2 outs to make it a 5-4 game but that would be the last run as Omar Infante(PH)grounded out to second.

Silva vs Hanson

Throughout the first 6 innings once again this was a pitchers duel with the score being 0-0.Tommy Hanson was hitting his spots left and right as was Carlos Silva.They couldn't see, to stop them.

The tie was broke when Heyward hit an RBI to bring in Nate NcLouth in the bottom of the 6th,In the 7th McCann hit a home run to give the Braves a 2-0 lead.In the 8th Melky Cabrera got in off a Chiper Jones hit.

In the top of the 9th Tommy Hanson gave up two runs to make it 3-2 with 1 out and a man on second and third so Billy Wagner came in to get his second save of the season and send the Braves off with a 3-2 victory.

Braves Win Series 2-1.

Meldon vs Sanchez

Meldon went 8IP and did good until he gave up a run in the 7th he got pulled.Sanchez went through 7IP.

Down 2-1 going into the top of the 9th the Braves managed to rally off two runs but would not be enough as the Giants had a 3 run bottom of the 9th to give them the lead.

Kenshin Kawakami pitched a great game as the Braves took route of the Giants to tie the series up at 1-1.The Picture above shows Troy Glaus going yard,only one of his 2 home runs in the games.

This picture shows Martin Prado doing yard work in the 8-1 win.

Jayson Heyward went 3-5 with a run,stolen base,2 RBI.

Hudson vs Lincicum

The first inning really gave the Braves a boost as they got two runs off a Heyward hit and a Heywrd run.

In this game Tim Hudson went the CG as Lincicum went 8IP,both pitchers had great performances but Tim Hudson out dueled the 2 time reigning Cy Young winner.

This shows Lincicum pitching performance.

In the 8th Inning Troy Glaus hit his 3rd home run in the last two games to give the Braves a comfortable 4-0 lead to take the game.

Lowe vs Latos

What a game.Lowe had his stuff through 8IP only allowing one run and giving the the Braves a 2-1 going into the 9th.This is when the drama unfolded.

In the top of the 9th David Ross hit a double bringing in Nate McLouth giving the Braves a 3-1 lead.In the bottom of the 9th Billy Wagner let two runs come across the plate to let the Padres tie it up at 3-3.A Billy Wagner blown save.

In the top of the tenth Jayson Heyward took over by hitting an RBI sings,getting a SB,and scoreing a run giving the Braves a comfortable 5-3 lead going into the bottom of the inning.

Saito got the inning over on 4 pitches to give the Braves their 3rd win in a row.

David Ross was 3-4 in Todays win.

Heyward took over the game in the 10th inning.
