Spring Training 40 Man Roster Invites Completed -

Spring is here and the Brewers have made their final invites for the 40-man roster. It is unlikely that they will make any major promotions as their minor league prospects are rather weak. We will keep you up to date with any major developments.

Zambrano's Gone - Cubs Trade Loud Mouth A-Hole To Brewers

It was only a matter of when rather than if. Carlos Zambrano will be playing in Milwaukee this season... unless they get rid of him too. The trade makes sense for both sides as the Brewers look to improve their pitching rotation and get rid of extra weight at 2nd Base.

The Cubs get rid of a team cancer and get a clubhouse leader in return.

Brewers Finish Pre-Season 15-15
It was an interesting start for the Brewers in the pre-season as they brought in the volatile Carlos Zambrano. Now they start the real season and it will be with a dangerous group of hitters in Fielder, Braun and Weeks as they all batted over .300 during spring training.

Fielder's Walk-Off Blast Starts Season With Fireworks

When the season starts like this, you have to get excited. Prince Fielder came to the plate with two outs in the bottom of the ninth with a 2-2 count and hammered the ball 426 feet into the center field bleachers. It was a crazy end to a game that saw Ubaldo Jiminez stimey the Brewers' for 12 strikeouts before they came to life in the late innings.

Brewers Win Two of Three To Open Season

After losing their first game of the season 8-3, the Brewers and pitcher Carlos Zambrano rebounded with a 6-0 shutout victory. Zambrano got the complete game victory with 5 strikeouts.

The Brewers scored all of their runs in the first inning as they pounded Matt Belisle as the Crew batted around to open the game.

Milwaukee (2-1) will face the Cardinals (0-2) in a three-game series next.
